International motorcycle shift course
125 I ride both the cycle gear and the large-displacement international gear, mainly the international gear. 125 I ride occasionally, and I think the international gear is better for the following reasons.

The first step from 1.N gear to start is to step down and start with 1 gear. When you are used to starting in second gear or starting on a downhill slope, use second gear. For international gears, you can directly pick up the gear lever in N gear. If it is a circular gear, you will step on it twice continuously, which is convenient for international gears.

2. When there is a need to downshift, such as downshifting and overtaking, and downshifting and parking step by step, I think it is faster to step down on the international gear than to cycle up, at least faster than stepping down on the gear lever with the heel. In particular, intense driving downshifting and speeding up have a great impact on safety.

3. The international gear can basically keep the vehicle in gear all the time, and will not give the driver a chance to slide in neutral (another calculation of deliberately sliding slope in N gear). Relatively speaking, it is easier to keep the traction of the rear wheels and make the car body more stable. Many cars equipped with traction control systems automatically adjust the engine output through the speed difference between the front and rear wheels. If it is in neutral, this is basically useless.

4. When a novice driver drives a car without a gear display, he can't pick it after the international gear is shifted to the sixth gear. When the cycle gear reaches the fifth gear, it is N gear. If he steps on it again when he is nervous, it is 1 gear. You can think about the consequences yourself. This situation is relatively rare.

When it is necessary to slow down and continuously downshift, the international gear will be reduced to 1 gear at the lowest, and the international gear will be N gear. At this time, if you want to keep going and follow the car at a low speed, it is obvious that the international gear can be disengaged. This is an extreme operation, and the fault tolerance of international gears is better than gear shifting.

5. When slowing down, the left and right feet of the international gear are stepping down, which should be easy to master. Generally, the gear lever of the circular gear is longer, and it is stepped down with the heel, which is not very beautiful.

6. The advantage of the circulating gear is that when the speed is reduced, the front brake is directly pulled and the rear brake is applied. When the speed is lowered, the clutch is applied, and the left foot is directly applied to 5→N, so it is not necessary to apply it many times like the international gear. Then, the 1 gear or the 5th gear is separated from the N gear by 1 gear, so it is easy to find and feel the N gear, and the international gear, 1 gear 2 is in the middle.

You need to get used to it. One advantage is that parking is generally downshifting, no matter whether it is 1 gear or second gear after parking, you only need to gently click.

I'm used to riding a big platoon, but I still find it convenient to take international gear.
