Nanzhao county has cultivated "Tussah Mushroom", "Nanzhao Carpet" and "Duck River Fish". Nanzhao Magnolia is the original area and birthplace of Magnolia grandiflora in China. It has a history of more than 2,000 years of cultivation of magnolia grandiflora, and still has a natural plant community of more than 500 years. In 20 13, nanzhao county was officially awarded the "Hometown of Magnolia in China" by China Forestry Society. Nanzhao Flos Magnoliae belongs to Magnolia of Magnoliaceae, also known as Magnolia grandiflora. It is a valuable Chinese herbal medicine with astringent, antihypertensive, analgesic and bactericidal effects, and can be used to treat rhinitis, headache, pneumonia, sores and other diseases. Nanzhao county, Nanzhao Tussah, is one of 19 tussah base counties in China and the only one in China that exports high-quality tussah cocoons. In July 2000, it was named as "the hometown of tussah in China". Henan Sericulture Research Institute, located in Yunyang Town, nanzhao county, belongs to the Provincial Department of Agriculture. 1975 was renamed as "Yunyang sericulture experimental site in Henan province", and in July 2007 it was renamed as "Henan sericulture scientific research institute". It is the only scientific research institution engaged in sericulture research and development in Henan Province, and it is also one of the earliest eight provincial-level scientific research institutions in China. Nanzhao kiwifruit Chinese kiwifruit is commonly known as "carambola". It is a deciduous rattan fruit tree. Produced in Funiu Mountain in Nanyang, Xixia, Neixiang, Nanzhao, Tongbai and other counties in Tongbai Mountain area. Duck and River Fish nanzhao county mainly develops cage fish farming in Yahe Reservoir. At present, more than 26,000 boxes of cage fish have been developed. Besides the four major fish, more than 20 specially cultivated species such as whitebait, soft-shelled turtle, river crab and goldfish have also been developed. These pollution-free, pure natural fish products are delicious in color and taste, and are favored by customers. They are exported to more than 0 provinces, cities and autonomous regions in China and have become the largest cage fish culture base in Henan Province.
