Small tomato stems
A few days ago, I planted a tomato plant, and they are growing up little by little.
Their stems are so straight! They look like soldiers standing tall and straight. There is also a layer of soft hairs on it, which feels soft and itchy, so comfortable! Later I found out that these are the glandular hairs of tomatoes! They also have the effect of expelling aphids! There are also pits on the stems. ', like the surface of the moon.
I also experimented with a tomato plant that died in ten minutes if the roots were pulled out, the stems were pinched, and the leaves were left alone. If you just pull out the roots and keep the stems and leaves, it can live for several days! It seems that the stem is the most important part of the plant!

Leaves of small tomatoes
When small tomato seedlings sprout, the leaves are sparse, mostly light yellow, with only a few hints of green. At first, I thought this tomato plant had no chance of survival, but then I no longer thought so. The yellow spots on their cotyledons turned into emerald green, and they all grew much taller. A warm breeze blew by, and they waved their tender little hands and said happily: "We have grown up! We have grown up!"
After a few days, the cotyledons slowly lowered their heads. Come, like a defeated battle, slowly, some dark green leaves grow in the middle of the cotyledons, shaped like a cactus. I heard from my mother that this is its true leaf. I think their growth is like a goral flying over, and the cotyledons are willing to sacrifice themselves in order to let the true leaves survive. True leaves are like small gorals, with very strong vitality. The leaves are so green and comfortable, just the right color, giving people an indescribable pleasure.
I love my little tomatoes and their leaves. ;
