Liaocheng Nanhu Wetland Park (formerly Liaocheng Botanical Garden) is located at the intersection of South Ring Road and Liaoyang Road in Liaocheng. It is a characteristic park based on artificial wetland, which integrates scientific and technological demonstration, leisure sightseeing, seedling breeding, ecological catering and environmental (popular science) education. The park covers an area of 1080 mu, with a total investment of106 million yuan. It has built six functional areas, including aquatic botanical garden, hundred gardens, hundred orchards, Dutch culture industrial park, ecological catering and leisure fishery park, and has been successively identified as municipal wetland park, Liaocheng University teaching practice base, provincial environmental (popular science) education base, agricultural tourism demonstration site in Shandong Province, and so on.
