Process 1: cocoon is made into raw silk.

Silkworm larvae protect themselves in cocoons before they become moths, and each cocoon is a continuous silk with a length of 2000-4000 meters. From silkworm cocoons to silkworm cocoons, they all gather in hot and humid air. Wet and cold air will kill the larvae and the silkworms will not spit out. If you put the cocoons in hot water, they will soften or slowly soften, and the dirty surface will fall off, and finally the ends of the silk will be exposed. Then, put the cocoons into the second tank, and according to the thickness of silk, 4- 12 cocoons can be entangled together (one cocoon can produce 650 cocoons.

Process 2: Silk weaving

Silk weaving, that is, silk weaving process, is a process of weaving raw silk into silk fabric. All kinds of silk fabrics have different production processes, which can be roughly divided into two categories: raw weaving and cooked weaving. Raw weaving refers to making warp and weft yarns into fabrics without scouring and dyeing, which is called blank silk, and then refining and dyeing the blank silk into finished products. This production mode has low cost and short process, and is the main mode used in silk weaving production. Cooked weaving means that warp and weft are dyed before weaving, and the woven blank silk can be finished without scouring and dyeing.
