In recent years, Xixia County combined with the adjustment of agricultural structure, relying on the unique natural conditions, gave full play to the advantages of resources, built a base according to the production requirements of pollution-free Chinese herbal medicines, created a brand to promote efficiency, and cultivated a pollution-free Chinese herbal medicine commodity base with Cornus officinalis and Gastrodia elata as the backbone. Chinese herbal medicine industry has become the leader of the three pillar industries of "medicine, fruit and fungus" in Xixia county to develop rural characteristic economy, and it is an important source for Xixia farmers to get rich and increase their income. At present, the area of Chinese herbal medicines is more than 300,000 mu, and more than 100 varieties are planted, forming a development pattern of Chinese herbal medicines driven by backbone varieties and suitable varieties to supplement. In recent years, under the correct leadership of the county party committee and government, the edible fungi industry in Xixia County is based on the superior conditions of our county, such as geography, climate and location, and about 40 million bags of marsupial mushrooms are developed every year, with a yield of120,000 kg and a yield of over 97%. Created the famous "Xixia Spring Seed Model" in China, 1998. This model passed the technical appraisal organized by the Provincial Science and Technology Commission and won the first prize of scientific and technological achievements in Henan Province.
