However, Gastrodia elata is sweet and moist, and can treat various wind syndromes, calm the liver, dispel wind and dredge collaterals; Uncaria rhynchophylla is sweet and cool in nature, which can clear liver and purge fire. It is suitable for the syndrome of excess heat moving wind, and can also be used to treat liver fire, red eyes and headache.
