1. Different places of growth: Xianglian generally refers to the lotus seeds produced in Hunan Province, especially the village Sanlian produced in Baishi Town, Xiangtan County, Xiangtan City, Hunan Province. Jianlian refers to the lotus seed in Jianning, located in the inland mountainous area of northwest Fujian.
2. The appearance and taste are different: Xiang Lian, also known as Cunsanlian, is named after it is full of three inches after shelling.
