Penpo, I believe,
Penpo is an evergreen tree of the Sycamore family, also known as the "phoenix-eye fruit", with long oval leaves; it blooms in early summer without a corolla, with a pink calyx and a panicle; the fruit is divided into four or five schizocarpels, the outside of which is dark red, and the inside pitch-black.
The seeds are edible, and the seeds simmered taste like chestnuts.
