Huzhou Normal College dormitory air-conditioned, dormitory for 4 people a room (a small number of 5 people a room), the top bunk under the table, with built-in or external balcony; the room has an electric fan, air conditioning (rental), independent bathroom, water heater, wifi full coverage. Dormitory beds are 90cm x 190cm (taller students can apply for longer beds in advance with the class assistants). The school dormitory lights out at eleven o'clock at night, six o'clock in the morning to turn on the lights.

Huzhou University, or Huzhou Teachers College for short, is organized by the Huzhou Municipal People's Government, and is a comprehensive, full-time ordinary school of higher education.

The history of the school can be traced back to the Third Joint County Teachers' Training Institute of Qiantang Road in 1916, and higher education began in 1958, with undergraduate enrollment starting in 1994. 1999, with the approval of the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China, the former Huzhou Teachers' Training College, Huzhou Teachers' Training School and Huzhou Teachers' Further Training College merged to form Huzhou Teachers' Training Institute. 2000, the former Huzhou Health School was merged into Huzhou Teachers' Training College. In 2000, the former Huzhou Health School was merged into Huzhou Normal College.In 2005 and 2017, the school passed the level assessment and audit assessment of undergraduate teaching work of the Ministry of Education, respectively.In 2012, the school began to enroll master's degree students independently. The school is a master's degree-granting unit approved by the State Council Academic Degrees Committee, a national demonstration site for Lei Feng activities, a national advanced collective for assisting people with disabilities, and a pilot university for the first batch of the National Excellence in Physician and Excellence in Agriculture and Forestry Talent Education and Cultivation Program projects, a pilot demonstration school for application-oriented construction in Zhejiang Province, and a classroom teaching innovation school in Zhejiang Province.
