Selection methods are as follows:
1. Select those pumpkins that are complete in appearance, with golden flesh, heavier in weight, and with no surface damage, insect moths, and so on.
2. If the surface of the pumpkin is not glossy and rougher, it is older. Such pumpkins are suitable for cooking and eating with a sweet flavor.
