Not good. You cannot eat too much spring bamboo shoots during confinement, otherwise it will be detrimental to your body's recovery. Bamboo shoots are a cold food. Eating too much will affect the discharge of lochia and thus affect the involution of the uterus, especially for postpartum mothers with cold constitutions. During this period, you should not eat cold food.
Attention to diet during normal delivery and confinement
1-2 days after delivery, the mother’s digestive ability is weak, so she should eat foods that are easily digested and should not eat greasy foods. 3-4 days after delivery, do not rush to drink too much soup to avoid excessive accumulation of breast milk. One week after delivery, the mother's appetite is normal and she can eat fish, eggs, poultry, etc., but it is best to make soup. Four principles should be followed in the diet during normal delivery and confinement:
1. The food should be soft, delicious, easy to digest and absorb.
Many women will have loose teeth after childbirth. On the one hand, food is not good for teeth, and on the other hand, it is not conducive to digestion and absorption. Therefore, pregnant women should cook softer meals and eat less fried or hard shelled foods.
2. Eat small and frequent meals, preferably with meat and vegetables.
Use more soups to facilitate breastfeeding. The secretion of milk is one of the reasons why mothers need more water after delivery; in addition, most mothers sweat more, and the water on the body surface evaporates more than usual, so they should drink more soup, porridge, etc.
3. It is not suitable to eat raw, cold or hard food
Pregnant women have weak physical constitution and poor resistance after delivery, which can easily cause gastroenteritis and other digestive tract diseases. Try to eat as much food as possible in the first week after delivery. Do not eat cold fruits, such as watermelon, pears, etc.
4. It is not advisable to take supplements quickly, lest the gain outweighs the gain
Most mothers’ breast ducts are not completely unobstructed. Do not rush to drink lactation-stimulating soup in the first two or three days after delivery, otherwise the milk will increase during the pregnancy period. It may be so painful that you want to cry, and you may easily get diseases such as mastitis. You can drink lighter soups such as egg soup and fish soup. The soup should not be too salty.
