Perennial herb, stem straight and hard, the plant is about 30 centimeters to 50 centimeters tall branching from the lower part of the stem to separate upright or expanding, the leaves are sessile, linear or lanceolate entire, the two ends of the fine obtuse head, slightly fleshy, on both sides of the majority of oil glands, whorled inflorescences are respectively pieces of lateral axillary, branches and leaves hairy, with a lunch smell. Flowers 6 to 15, corolla usually purple, also pink or white, lip-shaped, base barrel-shaped, and 1.3 cm long, sepals triangular woolly.
The nutlets are long ovate, trigonous, smooth, and the whole herb has an aromatic flavor.
