Introduction of Lijiang Mushi Toast
Lijiang Tusi refers to the Mu feudal lords of Naxi nationality, which is one of the three local governments in Yunnan in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. After three generations of Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties, it took 22 generations and 470 years to change the soil to the current. They are the owners of land, forests and rivers in Lijiang, and they are also political rulers. The ruling people numbered 57,000 during the reign of Ming Zhengde. Lord Mu basically maintained his own interests through the corvee system and in-kind service rent. In the history of Yunnan Tusi, Mu Tusi accepted Chinese culture the earliest. The history says: "The chieftains in Yunnan know poetry and books, and they are courteous and righteous, headed by the Mu family in Lijiang."
