Steps to make rolls
1
Prepare all the ingredients
2
Hot water to heat up the rolls. Steps to make >Flower Rolls
1
Prepare all the ingredients
2
Heat the water to about 38 degrees Celsius, add the yeast, and stir well
3
Pour the well-stirred yeast water into the flour
4
Stir the flour with chopsticks so that the water and the flour are fully integrated
5
After the water and the flour have merged, use your hands to mix the dough until it has three lights (i.e., hand light, basin light, and noodle light). Then roll out the dough and cover with plastic wrap
6
Rest for about 45 minutes (only in summer, in winter, the fermentation time should be increased), and the dough will be about 2 times as much as it was before
7
Wash and drain the green onions, and cut them into chopped scallions
8
Start to roll out the dough, and sprinkle some dry flour on the board.
9
Knead the fermented dough on the board and squeeze out the air inside the dough. Then use a rolling pin to roll the dough into a rectangular shape with a thickness of about 3 or 4 millimeters
10
Spread a layer of cooking oil (I used lard this time) on the rolled out dough, sprinkle some salt on it and rub it evenly
11
Sprinkle chopped green onion on the dough evenly
12
Roll the dough into long strips from the bottom to the top.
13
Cut the rolled dough into 10 equal pieces and stack two on top of each other
14
Rub a little bit of dry powder on the chopsticks and put it in the middle of the dough
15
Press it firmly and take out the chopsticks
16
Pretty rolls come out
This is the first time I've ever made a roll.
17
The rest of the dough is pressed in turn
18
Place a layer of greaseproof paper on the steamer rack
19
Put the rolls on the steamer rack
20
Cover the rolls with a lid and let them rest for 15 minutes
21
Then steam them on high heat for 15 minutes. 2 - 5 minutes or so before opening the lid
