How to Make Donkey Rolls

Donkey rolls are made as follows:

Main ingredients: soybean flour, glutinous rice flour, corn starch, sugar, water, salad oil, red bean paste.

Main tools: chopsticks, plate, steamer, plastic wrap, panel, rolling pin, knife.

1: Add glutinous rice flour, corn starch, sugar and salad oil to the pot, slowly pour in water and mix with chopsticks first.

2. After it has evenly absorbed the water, knead the lumpy glutinous rice flour dough into a smooth dough, place it in a flat-bottomed, slightly larger dish, and gently flatten it.

3, into the steamer, steam over high heat for about 25 minutes, steamed glutinous rice noodles to cover the plate with plastic wrap to prevent the surface from drying out, and allow to cool until warm.

4: Sprinkle soybean flour on the panel, and place the warmed glutinous rice dough on the panel, then sprinkle a layer of soybean flour on top.

5: Using a rolling pin, roll the glutinous rice dough into a rectangular sheet, roughly 0.5 cm thick.

6: Spread the red bean paste evenly over the sheet of glutinous rice, lift one end and roll it inward, roll it tightly and don't leave any gaps so that it doesn't come loose in the middle.

7. With a knife, cut the rolls into equal pieces. The soybean flour is evenly spread on the small rolls with a sieve, and the job is done.
