The main raw materials of popcorn are corn, sugar and oil. The finished popcorn contains about 50%~70% carbohydrate (including starch and sugar in corn), 20%~30% fat and 3%~9% protein.
Popcorn is not necessary, and ordinary popcorn is unhealthy, so it is not recommended in principle. In addition, diacetyl, a component in popcorn, is safe for normal use, but lung injury does exist in the case of long-term inhalation (such as popcorn factory workers or popcorn addicts).
