Peppermint Summer is a drama adapted from the popular campus comic of the same name made famous by freshman artist Fire Harvest. The drama tells the story of Tong Xi, a transfer student who returns to her hometown town, but meets Lin Nan Yi, a childhood friend who knows her roots but still doesn't deal with her, and works with her best friend and dead friend Tao Zhu to get through the hard times and finally confess her feelings.

There are some sweet and sweet episodes, such as Tong Xi and Lin Nan Yi wrote letters to each other at the station to say goodbye to Lin Nan Yi; the time of separation, Tong Xi began to write letters to record everything around her; turn to senior high school, Tong Xi returned to the mint garden to see Lin Nan Yi, who came back specially to accompany her college entrance exams and so on.
