Please recommend a three-day trip from Chengdu to Hangzhou. How to arrange a cost-effective trip?

Three days from Chengdu to Hangzhou are actually very tight, but if you choose to travel by plane, you still have time and it is worth visiting.

About transportation:

Personally, it is recommended to choose airplane. The current air ticket price from Chengdu to Hangzhou is not too high, and the cost is similar to that of high-speed rail. You can choose to take the flight the night before to Hangzhou Xiaoshan Airport, and then take the airport bus to the city to check in. In this case, the playing time is almost two and a half days.

About the itinerary:

Day 1: You can choose to spend all your time in the West Lake on this day. You can enjoy the beautiful scenery of the West Lake along the way, such as Broken Bridge, Beishan Road, Su Causeway, and Huagang View. Fish and Leifeng Pagoda.

The following is the walking map I drew for you. You can refer to it. Although this route is tiring, you can basically visit all the ten sights of West Lake in one day, which is very suitable for tourists who are short of time.

You can see that the route map above is all about walking around the West Lake and the route is easy to find. Just follow the arrow direction given by Xiaoma and walk all the way. If you are not sure about anything, you can ask passers-by.

It will take almost half a day to complete this route. After finishing this route, you can follow Nanshan Road and enter Hefang Street and Southern Song Dynasty Imperial Street. This is a famous pedestrian street in Hangzhou, but it is too popular and heavily commercialized. I personally do not recommend buying specialties and snacks here. If you want to find delicious food, you might as well walk further and use the map to navigate the Drum Tower. Passing under the Drum Tower you will see Zhongshan South Road. The food here is more authentic than Hefang Street.

Personally, I recommend Youbu Soy Milk, Juying Noodle House, Grandma Sun’s Scallion Stew, Wenji Wenyuan, etc. After dinner, you can continue walking around the Imperial Street of the Southern Song Dynasty, which is an introduction to the whole day.

The next day: Because the hiking route the previous day was tiring, I recommend a comfortable tour on this day. I recommend that you go to the canal and choose the waterway. Take the water bus from Hangzhou Wulinmen Pier to Gongchen Bridge. It costs 3 yuan and the cruise time is about 1 hour.

After arriving at Gongchen Bridge, you can enjoy Gongchen Bridge, Qiaoxi Historical District, Canal Museum, Knife and Scissors Museum, Umbrella Museum, Fan Museum, etc.

Day 3: Because you have to return on this day, so there is less time to arrange, so I recommend you to spend half a day. On this day, you can take a taxi to Xixi Wetland and spend half a day to visit Xixi Wetland. If you like For humanities, then visit the West District of Xixi Wetland. If you like natural landscapes, then the East District of Xixi Wetland is highly recommended.

About accommodation:

There are many places to stay in Hangzhou. If you like youth hostels, there are many youth hostels and inns in the Siyanjing and Longjing areas.

If you want convenient shopping, then the hotels next to Lakeside, Yan'an Road, and Wushan Square are very convenient for shopping and watching the night view of the West Lake and the fountain.

If you want convenience and cost-effectiveness, then the Qingzhiwu B&B area is very suitable for you.

About food:

In fact, the specialty snacks in Hangzhou are not as unique as those in Chengdu, Chongqing and other places, but if you look carefully, you will naturally find many small and beautiful delicacies.

If you like noodles, then Sichuan noodles, scallion oil noodles, scallion buns, Pianer Sichuan, and pork liver noodles are not to be missed;

If you like sweets, then Glutinous rice and lotus root, Happy Double, Dingsheng cake, etc. are also considered good desserts.

If you want to try Hangzhou cuisine, you can’t miss the time-honored restaurants such as Zhiweiguan and Louwailou. Of course, if you want cost-effectiveness, then Xinbailu, Alley, Xinbailu, etc. are popular among young people. I found that Second Movement and others can also be regarded as Hangzhou Internet celebrity restaurants.

This is my recommended three-day tour guide. Although it seems to be in a hurry, it is still an option for tourists who are short on time. I hope you like it.
