Han local opera, one of the four major Bangzi operas in Shanxi, also known as Shanxi Bangzi, is a traditional opera in China. Because it is produced in the middle of Shanxi, it is also called Zhonglu Bangzi, also known as "Chinese opera", which is mainly popular in the north-central part of Shanxi Province and parts of Shaanxi, Inner Mongolia and Hebei. There are two kinds of tunes, namely, tunes on the road and tunes on the road. The tune on the road is North Road Bangzi, and the tune on the road is Middle Road Bangzi. After the Republic of China, the middle road bangzi flourished, so Shanxi Bangzi specifically refers to the middle road bangzi, which was called Jin Opera after the founding of the People's Republic of China. The last hundred years of the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China are the peak of the development of Jin Opera. At that time, there were many clubs and talented people, especially after the appearance of the first generation of actresses represented by Ding Guoxian, the art of Shaanxi Opera was promoted to a new stage.
