# "Hometown Customs" composition of 400 words (articles 1)#
My hometown is Xiushui, Jiujiang, Jiangxi, the hometown of Huang Tingjian, a talented person in the Great Song Dynasty. There are not only a celebrity in my hometown, but also five celebrities. There are countless customs to talk about. Let's not talk about the custom of celebrating the Spring Festival for the time being. Even on weekdays, there are rules, such as: the younger generation must respect the elders, and the children must listen to their parents. Today, I will introduce you to the customs of the Spring Festival!
Spring Festival is the beginning of a year, so people in China pay special attention to it. Therefore, there are many pure affiliations.
On the morning of the Spring Festival, you must get up early and be energetic. Because the Spring Festival represents the whole year, having spirit on the Spring Festival means that you have spirit all year round. If you are listless and depressed on the Spring Festival, then you will do nothing for a year. The first thing after getting up is to post new Spring Festival couplets on Wang's door. If you don't post new couplets in the morning, you will become the object of ridicule. You must eat steamed eggs with sugar for breakfast, which represents the sweetness and beauty of the whole year. In the morning, no matter whether the house is clean or not, it should be thoroughly cleaned, so as to receive guests, make others have a good first impression of their New Year, and let others pay attention to themselves. At noon, you must invite many guests to your home for the first meal of the New Year. People regard a person by the number of guests invited. The more people come to your home, the more face you will have. In the afternoon, you have to go out to someone else's house to pay a New Year call. When you pay a New Year call, you have to hold your fists and bow before you become a gift. The more people you want to worship in the New Year, the better, because then others will think that you have made many friends and become a topic of discussion. In the evening, gather friends and relatives to a place. Friends and relatives should send lucky money to each other's children. Children can't open it immediately after receiving the lucky money, but they can only open it after sleeping under the pillow. I'm thriving here for more than ten years, by going up one flight of stairs.
Although there are many rituals for the Spring Festival, we can't ignore them. If we ignore them, something ominous will happen!

My hometown is in Maoming, and our Maoming has a unique festival-the Year of the Year. As the name implies, the annual example is that it happens every year. The reasons for the chronology have a long history, which was recorded in the local chronicles as early as the Ming and Qing Dynasties. Guangxu's "Maoming County Records and Customs" contains: "From December to February of the lunar calendar, villagers Nuo, chasing ghosts along the door and singing local songs, is called the chronology." That is to say, on the day of the year, wandering spirits will be carried out to exorcise ghosts.
"Wandering the gods" means to lift the idol and walk around the village. It is said that this can exorcise ghosts, and also protect the health of the villagers at home and in the village. Speaking of wandering gods, there is also a short story: it is said that in Guangxu period, there was a rare drought in a place, and the local county magistrate couldn't bear to see the people in dire straits, so he opened a warehouse to save people. Who knows that the county magistrate offended the court because of this incident, and a large number of officials played to behead him. One night before his execution, he dreamed of a fairy. The fairy said to him, "You are a good man. You shouldn't die. When you start your life again, you should carry me out and walk around the village to protect the peace, auspiciousness and abundant crops in the village." The next day, he did not die. He recalled his dream again and again and found that the fairy in the dream looked exactly like the King Anji in the small temple. So this place has a year, which is a custom of wandering the gods. Of course, the statues carried by different places are different. The statue carried by our Maoming is Guanyin Bodhisattva.
In the new year, we should not only wander, but also set up a dozen banquets at home. The dishes are mainly boiled chicken, duck, fried cabbage and fried rice noodles ... In the new year, every household has to rush back to their hometown to prepare banquets, food, drinks and other things. You must eat chickens, ducks and geese in the new year, so that you can protect your chickens, ducks and geese from virus infection and raise more and more.
The calendar year is a unique festival in our hometown. It has unique customs, so we have always kept this festival.

Henan folk paper-cutting has a long history, and there is a grand occasion to describe the sale of paper-cutting in the meticulous "Zhi Ya Tang Duo Chao" in the Southern Song Dynasty. From this point of view, paper-cutting has spread among the people as early as the Song Dynasty.
There is also an interesting story about the origin of paper-cutting. Once upon a time, there was a person named "Flower Girl". She could only earn money by cutting famous paper to support herself, but she could only earn a few cents in a busy day. She thought to herself that it must be my poor skills, so no one bought my paper-cuts. She visited everywhere, and by chance, she saw an old woman cutting paper for others at the intersection. The scissors in her hand were like living ones, and they were completed after several turns. The flower girl immediately went to worship the teacher, but the grandmother unhurriedly took out a pair of scissors from her back and said, "Son, grind it well and come to me again." Flower girl grinds day after day, and the grindstone is changed one after another. In this difficult process of grinding scissors, flower girl keeps improving her skills, and finally grinds the scissors for a year, but she can't find them again when she goes to grandma. He took grandma's scissors to cut the famous paper, and it was almost the same as the real one. From then on, Flower Girl became famous.
Paper-cutting needs patience, hands can't shake, if you cut it wrong, the paper will be discarded (but it can be used as waste), and your eyes should also concentrate. If you want to look good, you should not only have superb skills, but also be calm and not fidgety. You should think of yourself as scissors, so that the paper you cut will look good. Paper-cutting can also let you play, let your imagination, cut out your own unique paper-cutting.
There are two kinds of paper-cutting in Henan. The first one is made up of a piece of paper and a pair of scissors and then "cha, cha" a few times. The second kind is torn by your hard-working hands (but your nails must be very long to make hand-torn paintings). Hand-torn paintings are famous in our local area, as long as you tear them out with high skills, how about paper-cutting?
I am so proud that my hometown has such excellent customs, and I hope it will be handed down forever.

"The sound of firecrackers is one year old, and the spring breeze warms Tu Su." In this gratifying festival, we say goodbye to rats and welcome cows, which is really a new atmosphere!
As the saying goes: "Spring Festival bag jiaozi, don't eat your ears." There's a reason for this. In ancient times, it was said that the custom in jiaozi was: Nu Wa made people out of clay. Because of the cold weather, the ears of loess people are easy to freeze off. In order to keep it from falling off, Nu Wa pricked a small hole in her ear and tied it with a thin thread, and the other end was bitten in her mouth, so that her ear would not fall off. Later, in order to commemorate Nu Wa, people packed stuffing jiaozi to eat every Spring Festival, also for good luck.
"New Year is coming, Happy New Year, and every household will take care of jiaozi." My family is no exception. Before you can package jiaozi, you must make preparations. First, mix the stuffing, cut the meat and celery into pieces, then add some onions, ginger, garlic and sauce and mix well, followed by the skin. Before wrapping jiaozi, knead the mixed noodles into strips, then cut into pieces, press the skin, and then roll them into a circle with a rolling pin. This is what adults call a "military stronghold", because I am not familiar with these, so my mother will do it for me.
Next, Bao jiaozi, I'm going to show my talents. My mother showed me first, only to see that she put a spoonful of stuffing into it with the skin, then folded jiaozi in half, pinched it in the middle, and then folded it from both sides to the middle, and magically wrapped it into an ingot-like jiaozi. I admire the skill of its movements, which is accomplished in one go. Next, it was my turn. I took the skin and put a spoonful of stuffing. The visual inspection was good. Then, I also folded in the middle and squeezed hard, but I couldn't squeeze it. jiaozi just didn't listen, and the left and right sides didn't match. I was in a hurry. When my mother saw it, she gave me a trick to dip it in some water. When I tried it, it was really easy to use. I glued the leather tightly, but when I wrapped it, it looked flat and ugly, and I couldn't stand it. So, my mother encouraged me and taught me hand in hand. Finally, through my constant attempts, I finally made progress.
Boil jiaozi, smell jiaozi, eat sweet stuffing, and the whole family sit together in a circle. It's really festive and reunion.

It is very lively and interesting to spend the New Year in my hometown in Jiangxi. On New Year's Eve, in addition to posting couplets, the most important thing for adults is to prepare all kinds of delicious food for New Year's Eve. Among them, I like to watch them make fried meatballs and make rice cakes, which are my favorite foods, so I watch them happily every time.
Fried meatballs are very simple. Almost every household in Jiangxi will fry meatballs. There are many kinds of meatballs, including glutinous rice meatballs, sweet potato meatballs, and most of them are fried meatballs. Deep-fry a pot of delicious meatballs from Huang Cancan in the New Year's Eve. You can eat them in hot pot or make braised meatballs during the New Year. That round meatball symbolizes the harmony and beauty of life in a year, and it is round and round, and it is also entrusted with the good wishes and blessings of family members.
But it's not an easy thing to fight Ciba. The glutinous rice needs to be soaked two or three days in advance, until the glutinous rice grains are broken by gently pinching your fingers. Soaked glutinous rice is steamed on the fire, and when the smell of glutinous rice is overflowing and getting stronger, it is steamed. My mother always pinched a glutinous rice ball into my mouth, and I chewed it. The glutinous rice ball, crystal clear, like pearls, instantly activated my taste buds.
The adults poured the glutinous rice into the rice bowl and began to make rice cakes. One person holds the hammer tightly with both hands, and the other holds the handle of the cake. Like a saw, the two men first mashed the glutinous rice, and then, holding the hammer, they began to make Ciba. Playing Ciba is a hard work. The hammer-wielding man shouted his song while playing, and the children onlookers and I echoed it. How lively it was! Knock, knock, knock, knock, knock, knock, knock, knock, knock, knock.
Sweet Ciba and strong flavor of the year have become the best memories of my childhood.

What I look forward to most every year is the Chinese New Year. There are many things that we don't usually have during the Spring Festival. For example, there are delicious food, fun food and big red envelopes.
On the morning of New Year's Eve, my mother went out to buy food early in the morning. Dad also closed the shop door early. Today is New Year's Eve, and everyone is busy with the Spring Festival. We can't fall behind. Dad and I are busy cleaning. And mom is busy wrapping spring rolls and jiaozi!
In the afternoon, my mother began to cook New Year's Eve. My mother's best cooking is fried beef. When making stir-fried beef, my mother will shred the beef first, then marinate it with soy sauce, cooking wine and sugar for a while, and then cut ginger and chopped green onion. When the pot is hot, add a little oil, sometimes add ginger and garlic, then add marinated beef and stir fry together, then add salt, monosodium glutamate and chopped green onion. Delicious stir-fried beef is out of the pot.
After the New Year's Eve dinner, I began to look forward to paying New Year's greetings and receiving red envelopes. I didn't even watch the Spring Festival Gala seriously, and I just wanted to collect red envelopes. I got up early the next morning. Put on new clothes to pay a New Year call, and finally arrived after a long journey. We went to my aunt's house to pay New Year's greetings first. You can ask for a red envelope!
When I arrived at my aunt's house, I started to say Happy New Year and congratulations on making a fortune. But my aunt didn't mean to give me a red envelope. Just ask my parents some questions about health. I can only play with my brothers and sisters for a while, or watch my mobile phone for a while. My aunt finally gave me a red envelope when I was leaving. Looking at the thick red ticket in the red envelope, I contentedly followed my parents to the next house to ask for a red envelope.

My hometown is X, where there are many customs of celebrating the Spring Festival. Let me tell you!
In my hometown, the twentieth and thirtieth of the twelfth lunar month is a festival of sacrifice and also a New Year. Starting from today, it means that people are preparing for the New Year and preparing for the New Year neatly. It means that there will be a new year in the new year. Listen to my mother, on this day, everyone will worship the kitchen king to eat hemp. It's hard to buy hemp on this day.
December 24th of the lunar calendar is "cleaning day". Everyone must clean the house thoroughly. My mother also taught me a Chinese New Year song: "Twenty-four, clean the house; Twenty-five, steamed stuffed bun; Twenty-six, to cut the meat; Twenty-seven, to kill chickens; Twenty-eight, playing wine; Wash your hands; On New Year's Eve, jiaozi, blessings, couplets and stickers are included. "
Spring Festival couplets are my favorite things. During the Spring Festival, I will post Spring Festival couplets with my father. Spring Festival couplets are red. Red represents happiness and auspiciousness, and symbolizes the prosperity of the new year. We also put a big square "Fu" on the door, which means "Fu arrives at the door".
In my hometown, setting off firecrackers is the highlight. We will set off firecrackers before dinner on New Year's Eve and early morning on New Year's Day. What makes me most happy is the sound of New Year's Day morning. On the morning of New Year's Day, everyone scrambled to fire the first shot of the New Year. Every time the countdown starts, we watch TV and count down the number of people who fire. One with a long stick and a cannon, the other with a lighter, waiting for the critical moment. “5、4、3、2、 1”。 Suddenly, the whole community rang with thunder cannons and firecrackers, which was very lively.
In my hometown, there are many customs: jiaozi, it seems that the year is rich, watching the Spring Festival Gala, having fun with the whole family, hanging out with friends and relatives, and so on. What a lively New Year!
What are the customs in your hometown?

I grew up in the countryside, and what I can't forget most is the gathering in my hometown.
Yes, when there are few people, it is called gathering, and when there are many people, it is meeting. In our town, there are meetings twice a year, which are calculated according to the lunar calendar.
Only twice a year is a rare thing. Every January when there is a meeting, at the beginning of the month, someone will paint the word "Zhan" on the side of the road first, on a first-come-first-served basis, and those who fail to catch up will stand aside.
And we can have a great time on this day. I remember one time, I will catch up with Sunday, so I can go to the meeting.
The meeting was packed with people. Ears are selling, singing and tourists laughing. Although it is inconvenient to move, it is very lively.
You can't get in by bike, you can only walk. This lap down, almost half a day to walk.
In the process of walking, shopping is essential. But looking up, there are only a few things to sell: clothes, flowers, fish and food. Will bring me a lot of fun. As a local folk tradition, this is also very local.
I enjoyed the meeting very much, but it's hard to avoid being a little boring every year.
In recent years, people's living standards have been greatly improved, but the meeting has become more and more deserted-there are few people at the meeting, and there is no more excitement than before. And set? In order to build a civilized city, the location of the collection was stipulated, and some small shops were directly removed. In this way, the face of the city is bright and clean, can be gathered, and may disappear forever.
On the one hand, we should strive for construction, but traditional culture should not be abandoned. People's favorite folk cultural traditions in a region should be protected.
Alas, I don't know when I can catch another meeting.

When the annual Tomb-Sweeping Day arrived, my parents and I went to visit the grave for my grandfather who was already in heaven early in the morning. Walking on the road, I found at first sight that the pedestrians on the road were different from those in previous years. Everyone was holding flowers and fruits, and there was no longer a time when they were carrying all kinds of sacrifices and carrying a large bundle of firecrackers to worship in the mountains. With doubts and questions, I followed my father and mother into a solemn new cemetery, with small white flowers hanging on the green pines and cypresses on both sides. I asked my father softly, "Dad, where is this?" Didn't we say we were going to visit grandpa on the mountain? How did you get here? " Dad whispered: "This year, a new land was collected in the village, and all cemeteries were centralized and unified to build cemeteries. Everyone will come here to worship their ancestors in the future."
We followed the steps and found grandpa's cemetery. Mom put flowers in front of grandpa's tombstone, and dad put his favorite fruit and wine for grandpa. Our family bowed deeply for grandpa. Looking at the kind photos of Grandpa, I seem to see that Grandpa also praised such a civilized way of sweeping. Grandpa was the head of the village before his death, and Tomb-Sweeping Day is his busiest and most tiring day every year. Because everyone has to worship, burn paper money and set off firecrackers, there will be forest fires, and Grandpa will go door to door to publicize the civilized way of sweeping for the villagers. Now, the new village head actively responds to the party's good policies and collects new land, so that the ancestors in the village and my grandfather can lie in such a good place to sleep and rest in peace.
Walking on the way home, I listened to the villagers around me exclaiming that such a civilized sacrifice is both environmentally friendly and safe. At the moment, I am also proud of my hometown's traditional and urbanized creativity, and the Qingming custom in my hometown has changed.

In my hometown, the Spring Festival is very lively. According to the custom of hometown, dragon dancing in the Spring Festival, good weather all year round, and abundant crops. Therefore, adults dance Huanglong and Qinglong, and children dance grass dragons. This year, we children will have a "the Monkey King leading the little monkey to dance the grass dragon".
On the morning of the second day of the first month, several of our friends divided their work. Some made dragon bodies out of straw, some pasted dragon heads and whiskers with colored paper, some pasted dragon balls with old calendars, and finally installed miner's lamps. An exquisite grass dragon was vividly displayed in front of us.
On the second night of the second day, as night fell, Xiao Ming wore the Monkey King's clothes and held the faucet proudly, saying, "The Monkey King led the monkey to dance the dragon." Our friends who play monkeys are wearing yellow clothes and dancing grass dragons behind the Monkey King, moving in the upper reaches of the street. Just walked to the door of Zhang Dama's family, Zhang Dabo immediately lit firecrackers. With the "crackling" firecrackers, the Monkey King danced the grass dragon and the tiger leaped, and the little monkey Dongdong held the "Dragon Ball" up and down, twitching and teasing the faucet. The dragon body of the Monkey King kept twisting and tumbling, like a wave on the sea. There were more and more people watching, and soon it was packed. "The grass dragon dance of the Monkey King is really wonderful!" Cheers resounded through the night sky.
The Monkey King sang the jingle "Zhang Dama, a military family member, sent her son to join the army to protect the country, was rewarded with red flowers for meritorious service, and everyone praised her glorious military family". Aunt Zhang smiled and her eyes narrowed into a crack.
Suddenly, the young people danced with a green dragon. The grass dragon and the green dragon danced on an empty lawn, one like walking on clouds, the other like making waves, showing their magical powers. An old man raised his thumb and praised, "It's not bad that the grass dragon dances with the green dragon in the Monkey King." The Monkey King blinked his eyes and said happily, "Thank you for your praise.

My beautiful hometown is Pucheng, which is a small county, but even so, our people in Pucheng have been advocating Chinese traditional folk customs, which shows that everyone respects their ancestors.
Let me start with the Spring Festival! Before New Year's Eve, every family began to eat New Year's Eve at 3 o'clock. "Egg Roll" is an essential dish. Its color is golden yellow, which symbolizes that every family is prosperous every year and children can honor their elders. After dinner, we never go out. Grandma said, "If we go out, we will take away everyone's good luck." Although we can't go out, we can't go out at home, but at home, we can still have fun. The adults played cards at home all night, and the children set off fireworks! This means good luck and good fortune every year ... After New Year's Eve, the first day of the first month is also very popular! Get up in the morning and have a cup of "osmanthus honey" after washing. This is our children's favorite. It tastes sweet and fragrant ... This means that I hope everyone's life will be prosperous, sweet and beautiful ... After dinner, they will pay New Year greetings to their elders. Children will be happy when they get lucky money, but they can't spend money indiscriminately from the first day to the third day, which means that it is very difficult for adults in this year. On the fourth day of the first month, the whole family will go to the temple on the mountain to burn incense and pay respects to the Bodhisattva, so that the Bodhisattva can bless the children and grandchildren and make their lives happier ...
After the sixth day of junior high school, everything will return to normal. Adults will continue to work. It is time for children to review their lessons and welcome the arrival of the new semester. This Spring Festival is unforgettable.

My hometown is Jinjiang, which is a beautiful place. We also have our own customs for the New Year.
On the 30 th night, we were similar to other places, except that we had one more fire jump. Because we believe in Buddhism here, we are like this from the first day to the seventh day ...
In the early morning of the first day of junior high school, a family got up one after another, brushing their teeth and washing their faces, changing into new clothes, and then setting up a case in the hall, placing offerings, burning incense and lighting candles, worshiping "God" and setting off firecrackers.
At the first day breakfast, everyone was given noodles, although I don't know why, maybe it was a Buddhist. Relatives and friends visit each other to celebrate the New Year. Guests come and go, please be sweet, eat sweet and drink sweet to show a sweet beginning. There are many taboos in the first day of junior high school, such as: you can't cut things with a knife, you can't sweep the floor, you can't beat and scold, you can't break household utensils, and so on. It is full of good luck, wealth, harmony, prosperity, happiness and so on ... It is intended to be a good omen and a good "lottery" at the beginning of the new year.
The second day is "Daughter's Day", and the married daughter often goes back to her mother's home with her son-in-law and children. The third day is often a group activity. The fourth day is commonly known as "Sanzheng", which means the end of the Spring Festival. The fifth day is the day when the factory starts.
The seventh day is "People's Day", which is also called "People's Birthday". Generally, all families eat "Seven Treasures Soup", that is, noodles-based rice with pork, dried squid, oysters and garlic. Pray for a long life and express blessings. The ninth day of the ninth lunar month is God's birthday, commonly known as God's birthday. Every household kills chickens, cooks cakes and sweets beforehand, and prepares "Three Sacrifices", "Five Fruits", "Liuzhai", green tea and red wine, which is equal to the early morning of that day. They set up a "God's Table", lit "God's Lantern" and bowed down with incense.
These are the customs of Chinese New Year here. How many!

Mid-Autumn Festival is one of the traditional festivals in China, and it is my favorite festival. It is a night of full moon, and it is also a night of reunion. On this day, there is no complicated process. The most important thing is that the whole family is together, sitting in front of the door, facing the breeze, eating moon cakes and enjoying the moon.
The artistic conception is quite beautiful. Wanderers who are away on this day, unless they have to, no matter how busy they are, will definitely buy a bag of moon cakes and return home, come to their relatives and get together. This is one of them-reunion.
Every family is like this. What's even more gratifying is that when it gets dark, the whole family sits around the round table eating and chatting about their daily lives, praying for happiness and peace. I just ate enough, and I still need to enjoy the moon. The country people took out the little Mazar and came to the door with moon cakes, enjoying the moon while eating. There is no such mood in the city. My family and I are on the balcony, looking at the moon through the glass. The moon on the fifteenth is round and round. This is true and good.
The full moon in the sky is flawless, shining faintly, like a snowball embedded in the dark blue night sky. The stars beside me are dimmed by comparison. The moon shines with infinite brightness, as if it were a huge Tianhe, which pours thousands of miles, and a beautiful moonlight pours straight down. Listening to the Goddess Chang'e flying to the moon's story, imagining things on the moon. How I want to be in the hazy countryside, where the mountains are full of shadows and the fluorescence is a little bit, so that a dog is by my side and a lonely lamp is by my side, enjoying the full moon. This is the second-enjoying the moon.
Watching the moon is fun, but it is also monotonous. The great ancients also invented moon cakes. Huang Chengcheng's skin, sweet and delicious stuffing, eaten together in the mouth, makes people think endlessly, which is the third-eating moon cakes.
Mid-Autumn Festival is a traditional festival in China, in which the customs are even more popular, such as enjoying the moon, eating moon cakes, getting together, simple and simple, but rich and beautiful. This is my favorite Mid-Autumn Festival custom.

Every Spring Festival, we will pack jiaozi, set off firecrackers, pay a New Year call and get red envelopes.
On New Year's Eve, the adults were as busy as a bee, some were wrapping jiaozi, and some were sticking Spring Festival couplets. In the evening, my father asked me to light firecrackers, and when they lit, they started to crackle. That sound was so loud.
When we're done with the fireworks, we'll eat jiaozi. When he came into the house, grandma said that he put a dollar in a jiaozi, and whoever ate it would be blessed. I gulped it down, thinking: I must get that dollar. But I've eaten five bowls, and I haven't got the dollar yet. My brother ate it. So grandma said, my brother is really lucky and a blessed man.
It was completely dark, and every family set off some beautiful fireworks. When our fireworks are over, we will sit on the roof and watch other people's fireworks.
On the fifteenth day of the first month, we will all eat Yuanxiao, which my mother bought, with hawthorn flavor and black sesame flavor. It is sweet and very soft and delicious.
In the evening, the children will come out with small lanterns and play games.
On the 16th day of the first month, a bonfire will be lit in front of every house at dawn. Adults will bake children's clothes on it. I heard that baking can cure all diseases.
After I got up, I immediately took an apple, put a stick into it, and put it on the fire to bake slowly. Finally, I burned the apple red and warm, and I might burn my hand if I touched it. So I gulped down this big and sweet apple.
This is the custom of Spring Festival in our hometown, and I have experienced endless happiness from the custom of my hometown.

The custom manhole in my hometown is located in the west of Shenzhen, facing the Pearl River Estuary, Fuyong and Baoan airports in Nantong, Gongming in the east, Songgang in the north and Changan and Humen in Dongguan in the northwest. Shajing also has many customs of its own. Since 20__, the cultural activities of the Golden Oyster Festival in Shajing have been held every year under the sponsorship of the municipal and district governments. The Golden Oyster Festival in Shajing is rich and varied, mainly including grand well curtain, cultural performances, oyster feast, one-day tour of the scenic spots in Shajing, etc. The Spring Festival is commonly known as the Spring Festival, and Shajing people begin to prepare for the Spring Festival after the winter solstice every year. The first is spring flour and fried rice flour, which depends on the family economy and population. Shajing people are very particular about making fried rice cakes, which are called "tart" cakes. "Tart" cakes Hantian invited middle-aged and young women and girls from neighboring relatives and friends to gather around to "tart cakes", and the laughter was mixed with the sound of "tart cakes". The scene was quite lively. Every family usually "tarts" cakes on the same day. The materials of cakes are generally fried rice noodles, brown sugar, peanuts and so on. On the day before New Year's Eve (when the month is thirty and the month is twenty-nine), all the children of Shajing people who have married in Hong Kong return home to have a reunion dinner with their parents and return to Hong Kong on the same day. From the first day of the lunar new year to the third day of the lunar new year, incense sticks are lit and firecrackers are burned every day.
Early in the morning, the son, daughter-in-law and grandson hold a whole box, with candy, melon seeds and oranges for the elders to pay New Year greetings, and the elders should give red envelopes to the younger generation (profit). Shajing people pay New Year greetings to friends and relatives, and they can pay New Year greetings on other days except the third day of the third year. During the New Year, the lion dance team went to various villages to pay homage, watch and perform martial arts performances. This is the custom of manholes.
