I like Fangshan Mopan persimmon, which enjoys the reputation of "China Famous Fruit". Every year in the first frost, our family will go to the home of the persimmon champion in Dayugou, Fangshan to pick persimmons from the millstone. Autumn wind blows, and persimmons everywhere wave to us like little red lanterns. They got together in groups of three and five, and the ripe persimmons "pa, pa ……" fell to the ground, as if thanking the earth for feeding them in their own unique way. The golden persimmon is flat and round, with a groove mark in the middle, which looks like a belt. The whole shape resembles a millstone, hence the name "millstone persimmon". You can't eat the crisp persimmon picked from the tree at once. I don't trust people who are eager to eat persimmons at once. I took a bite, and I was speechless, which made the adults laugh. Raw persimmons need to be "lazy" to take home. I pinch them every day. The "lazy" ripe persimmon is soft in my hand. As long as you peel off a little skin gently and put it in my mouth, you will get red juice sweeter than honey, from the corner of your mouth to your heart. Although I love eating, my father told me not to eat more, or my stomach would be upset. Persimmons can be eaten raw and made into persimmon cakes, which are rich in nutrition and have high medicinal value. I like persimmon in millstone best.
