Then look at a pair of Badashanren (1626- 1705):
Eating sparsely is heroic to guests, and burning leaves and reading without bitterness.
Badashanren, formerly known as Zhu Da, is a descendant of the royal family in the Ming Dynasty. After Ming's death, he became a monk and devoted himself to painting, becoming a generation of painting saints.
Badashanren's paintings are mostly dry ink and lonely birds and strange stones, which, like his life experience, reveal a sense of aloofness in the cold. This couplet "the meal is sparse and heroic to the guests, and there is no bitter sound in burning leaves and reading", which is exactly what it means.
Let's look at Mr. Ma Gongyu (1890- 1969):
I have been happy with words all my life, and this day I am especially ashamed of the makeup of the times.
The first couplet "I am happy with words all my life" comes from Mei Yaochen's poem in the Northern Song Dynasty; The second couplet "This day is especially ashamed of the makeup of the times" comes from Zhu Xi's poem in the Southern Song Dynasty.
This couplet is plain and easy. Speaking poetry and writing is my greatest happiness, and what I hate most is following the fashion.
Then look at Mr Wang Shihong (1658 ――1723):
Poetry and calligraphy are for me, and my hobbies are sour and salty.
The first part of the book "Poetry is to me a qu tiller qū niè" comes from Su Dongpo's poem in the Northern Song Dynasty; The second couplet "Hobbies and Worldliness are sour and salty" comes from Han Yu's poem in Tang Dynasty. This couplet is different from the last couplet, but its meaning is exactly the same. They are all narcissistic and self-pitying.
Let's look at Mr. Tao Junxuan (1846- 19 12):
See the elegance between the eyebrows, and talk about the world.
This couplet is collected from the poems of Huang Tingjian in the Northern Song Dynasty. "Special mortar family" means not sticking to the pattern (kējiù ù), being unconventional and different from ordinary people.
Then look at Mr. Liu Fengyou (birth and death unknown):
Ignorance of the world often fills my chest, which makes Dont Ask For Help crazy.
Look at this pair of "I am often stuffed with ignorance, and I am crazy about Dont Ask For Help", and I can't control my emotions a bit. Confucius said, "If you use it, you will do it, but if you give it up, you will hide it." If you are so wronged and upset, it will damage your health.
Li Baiyou wrote an antique "it is hard to go", as if he were shouting loudly and venting his resentment:
The way is broad like the blue sky, but no way out before my eye!
I am ashamed to follow those who have no guts, red chickens and pheasants bet on pears and chestnuts.
It is not my intention to beigongqujie in the door of the powerful, like feng Xuan Complaint.
At that time, the Huaiyin city people ridiculed the timid and impotent, the Han dynasty minister of state was jealous of Jia yi to excel.
Have you seen king of Yan in days gone by who venerated talents and built Terrace high, on which he offered gold to gifted men. And stooped low and swept the floor to welcome them??
Juxin and le yi are grateful for the kindness they have received, and they have done their best to serve the monarch with their talents.
But Yan zhaowang died early, and who can reuse the wise men as he did?
The road is hard, I have to go back!
Let's look at Mr. Tan Yankai (1880- 1930):
Is there an article to worship, and it is not suitable for officials.
The first couplet "Is there any article to worship" comes from the poem of Shao Changheng, a poet in the early Qing Dynasty. The second couplet "Being born with affection is not suitable for being an official" comes from the poem of He Daosheng, a poet in the mid-Qing Dynasty.
Looking at this couplet as a whole, it is roughly said-I have enough articles to be conceited, who wants officialdom to work hard to please!
Then look at Mr. Ma Yifu (1883- 1967):
It's the emperor's heart, but it's the last generation!
I don't care if the singer is bitter, but it hurts my bosom friend.
? In his later years, Mr. Ma Yifu gave himself the name juān, which means "donation", meaning "abandoned by the world". "Pubé" means "an idle old man who has nothing to do and is abandoned by the world". Mr. Ma and Mo Bao often sign autographs, and this couplet is like this.
Look at the first couplet, "The singer is willing to suffer, but it hurts his bosom friend". Although the singer is bitter, it is because he is singing with emotion, which is not really bitter. "It is true only when he is deeper than emotion"! What really bothers me is that no one understands my ambition and talent.
Looking at the second couplet, "The emperor's heart should be respected, but the last generation should be loyal to qi." The ancients in China liked to cherish the past and cherish the present, and thought that the ancient world was the best. Du Fu's "Let the monarch be Yao and Shun, and then make the customs pure" and the old saying "I don't believe that there are no ancient sages today" are all evidence. Here, "respecting the emperor's heart" refers to "the intentions of ancient people" and "the last generation" refers to "today" in "respecting the past and cherishing the present". The meaning of this sentence can be understood as-how can contemporary people who think big and have short eyes understand it? So I don't care about their cynicism at all.
? This couplet is elegant and gorgeous, with aristocratic temperament. On the one hand, it reveals a touch of sadness, and on the other hand, it is full of strength.
This connection inevitably reminds people of Socrates who died for philosophy.
Socrates was not killed by a powerful tyrant or an ignorant mob, but was sentenced to death by a court composed of 50/kloc-0 citizens in Athens, which is famous for its democracy. And look at a passage from Socrates' Trial in Getting APP:
Socrates faced the accusation of his compatriots and the death sentence, and with the determination to seek death voluntarily, he righteously defended himself and his chosen philosophical life.
In his view, the reason why he was resented and finally brought to court was because he tirelessly revealed people's ignorance. But in Socrates' view, this is the real starting point of philosophy. Because compared with God, man is ignorant. Therefore, in this world, we can only keep searching and searching for wisdom, so as to care about the health of the soul. And he himself is the "horse" that God gave to the people of Athens. His mission in life is to constantly remind people that "life without trial is not worth living", stop reflecting and stop torturing himself and others' souls, so such a life is not worth living at all. Only by constant examination can we realize the essence of philosophy-loving wisdom. Therefore, I am not only innocent, but should be regarded as the benefactor of Athens.
Let's look at Mr. Yang Xian (18 19- 1896):
Iron tastes bitter, better than copper smell; Poetry is poor, and it is borrowed.
"Iron tastes bitter, but copper smells better" means that you don't love money, and "Poetry is poor, so you can borrow songs" means that although you think man of great talent, no one likes the poems you wrote, so you have to make a generous attack and lament yourself-it's easier said than done. Even if it is difficult to enter the eyes of laymen, it is not fashionable to paint peonies!
To say it's smelly and hard, this pair really deserves it.
Finally, look at Mr. He Shaoji (1799- 1872):
Stubborn as ever, thoughtfully so far.
Everyone looks at this pair, "Stubborn as ever, thoughtfully so far", with a strong sense of the picture-time is too hasty, everything is gradually empty, how can you bear to pay for the running water, and how can you be depressed in your chest!
Who is the hero of this picture? Maybe it's perfect to travel to Lu Fangweng by land.
Throughout Lu Gong's life, he was brilliant and ambitious, but the situation was stronger than others, and he ended up with nowhere to display and nothing to do. Mr. Wang's "stubbornness" and Mr. Wang's "thoughtfully" are still embarrassing to read after thousands of years. And look at Mr. An antique "Jin Cuodao":
Yellow Jin Cuodao is dressed in white jade, which shines through the casement at night.
The husband has not achieved fifty merits, and he has taken care of the eight shortages independently with his knife.
Jinghua makes friends with all the strange people, and they are in love with each other for life and death.
The history of the Millennium is shameful and nameless, and a piece of heart is reported to the son of heaven.
You came to join the army in Tianhanbin, and Nanshan Xiaoxue was rugged.
Whoo! Although three families in Chu can destroy Qin, is there an empty China?
The "pride" of the four lectures is coming to an end here. Here, the dog's tail will continue to be marten, and a few more words will be said:
First, it is suggested that talented people should keep a low profile and wait for the opportunity; Don't be arrogant and arrogant, and attract people to avoid it. At this point, Han Xin, the founder of the Han Dynasty, is a good example, and look at a passage in Historical Records-Biography of Huaiyin Hou:
The young people in Huaiyin Tu, who insulted (Korean) faith, said, "If you grow up, you should wear a sword, but you are afraid of your ears." The humiliation of the people said: "Faith can die and stab me; I can't die, I'm out. " So the letter depends on it, and it is squatting (that is, squatting) and squatting (crawling). Everyone in the city laughed at the letter and thought it was timid.
This story may be just a legend. But Tai Shigong wants to tell the world through this story-a cow is a cow if it can bow its head.
It doesn't matter how people live without ability. But if you can't keep a low profile and wait for the opportunity to show your skills, how can you prove to the world that you are capable?
Second, it is suggested that these great talents should show compassion for others, actively serve the country, and not be cynical and self-defeating. When you sigh that "heroes are useless", there is a high probability that there is something wrong with you. As the saying goes, times make heroes. Every era needs its own hero, and every era will naturally produce its own hero. Whether you can do it or not is not up to you, but to be tested in the torrent of the times.
Su Dongpo once sighed in Jia Yi Lun:
It's difficult to be talented, so it's really difficult for people to use it for themselves. Cherish it! Jia sheng, the king's assistant, can't use his talents for his own use.
What a gentleman takes is far away, so he must be treated; If you are big, you will be patient. The sages of ancient times were all responsible for what they could do, but those who failed to do what they could do were not necessarily guilty of the monarch at that time, or they invited themselves.
A foolish view of Jia Sheng's theory, as he said, is far beyond the three generations? If you get a gentleman like Chinese, you still have to die. However, there is no Yao and Shun in the world, so you can't do something. The sage of Zhong Ni, who has tried his best in the world, wants to support him reluctantly if he is not a country with no way, so he can do it in a few days. Will Jing, first with Ran You, and apply it to Zi Xia. A gentleman's desire is his own, so he is diligent. Mencius went to Qi, stayed for three nights and then went out for the day. He said, "Wang Qishu called me several times." A gentleman can't bear to abandon his king, so he is thick. Sun Chou asked, "Why don't you prepare, Master?" Mencius said, "If it's going down today, who else will it be?"? And why am I not prepared? " A gentleman loves his body so much. If you don't use it, you will know that the world is not enough and promising, but you can have no regrets. If Jia Sheng is born, he can't be born in non-Chinese, and he can't be born in Chinese.
