Method/Steps
Add a spoonful of glutinous rice flour to the bowl and stir with chopsticks while adding cold water. The degree of softness and hardness can be seen from the picture below.
Then make a smooth and soft dough and let it rest for 5 minutes.
Pour the vegetable oil into the pot and heat it. Divide the glutinous rice flour dough into small portions, roll into balls, then press into cakes and put into the pot.
Remove the pot, set to golden brown, then turn over and continue to simmer.
Move the pan while heating evenly on the kang. The other side of the cake will look golden brown when viewed from the kang. When the glutinous rice cake swells significantly, it means the inside is cooked.
