Effects and functions of asparagus:
Nourishing Yin and promoting the production of fluid, moistening the lung and clearing the heart, removing dryness and lowering fire.
Tian dong has the effect of suppressing cough and expectorant; it has inhibitory effect on many kinds of bacteria; it has anti-tumor activity.
Tian dong is used for yin deficiency and fever, dry and parched cough of lung, cough of deficiency labor, thirst due to injury of fluids, heartburn and insomnia, internal heat and thirst, constipation due to dryness of intestines, lung impotence, carbuncle, diphtheria.
Use: 10~15g a day, decoction, decoction of ointment, as preserves, into the dishes.
Contraindications: Cold and diarrhea and external wind-cold cough, are contraindicated.
The therapeutic efficacy of asparagus:
1, asparagus cream: asparagus 100g, Agaricus blazei, almonds, mother of pearl, Poria, each 50g. Add water and decoct the juice, add about the same amount of honey and stir, boil that is to become. Eat 1 spoon each time.
Derived from Danxi Xinfa (originally formulated as pills). This formula uses asparagus to nourish yin, moisten dryness and clear fire, Colla Corii Asparagus to nourish yin and stop bleeding, almonds and Szechuan shellac to dissolve phlegm and stop coughing, and Poria to nourish and benefit the spleen. It is used for cough and hemoptysis due to deficiency of yin and lung dryness.
2, asparagus porridge: asparagus 15g, round-grained rice 100g, rock sugar. Asparagus decoction of water, into the polished round-grained rice porridge, nearly cooked into the rock sugar to cook until the porridge is cooked.
Originally from "Dietary Discussion". This formula uses asparagus to nourish yin and moisten dryness, clearing fire, round-grained rice to benefit stomach qi, and rock sugar to moisten the lung and benefit the stomach. It is used in treating yin deficiency and lung dryness, cough and dry throat; yin deficiency and stomach heat, thirst and dry mouth; and dry heat and constipation.
3, long life solid wine: ginseng, wolfberry, yam, schizandra, asparagus, maitake, raw land, ripe land 15g, 1500g of white wine. medicine into a gauze bag, soaked in wine; placed for more than 2 weeks, or half an hour of heating water. Drink 30~50g each time.
Derived from Shou Shi Bao Yuan. This formula uses ginseng to tonify qi, nourish the heart and tranquilize the mind, Erdong and Erdi to nourish yin and nourish blood, Wuweizi to nourish the kidneys and astringent the lungs, and Chinese yam to nourish the kidneys and benefit the spleen. It is used for deficiency of qi and yin, deficiency of the five organs, heartburn and dry mouth, palpitation and insomnia, tiredness and fatigue, and premature whitening of the beard and hair.
