This variety has more varieties, Beijing has two types of early maturity type and late maturity type; early maturity type is also known as sweet sand red, alias tire red sand fruit; late maturity type is also known as stupid sand fruit, alias sour sand fruit. The fruit is larger than the early type, the average single fruit weight 38.9 grams, the largest fruit weight 45.7 grams, the color and lustre is not as bright as the early type; taste is more acidic, sugar content of 15.3%; other fruit traits with the early type.

The tree crown is tall, rounded head shape, open posture; strong tree, early maturity type results in late, not productive, late maturity type results in early, productive; long economic life, up to more than 100 years; adaptability and resistance to adversity, drought-resistant, barrenness resistance, easy to manage.
