Definition: The four major fishes refer to the artificially raised herring, grass carp, silver carp and bighead carp. It is a high-yield fish species bred by pond culture in China 1000 years.

Introduction:

Silver carp lives in the middle and upper layers of water and mainly eats phytoplankton; Pomfret lives in the middle and upper layers of water and mainly eats zooplankton;

Grass carp generally lives in the middle layer of water and mainly eats the stems and leaves of aquatic plants;
