The net box culture of eels is a kind of culture mode that has been developed relatively fast in recent years, which has the advantages of less investment, not occupying land, making full use of the water body, flexible scale of culture, high survival rate, fast growth, convenient management, favorable fishing sales, and better culture benefit, etc., and it is a kind of eel culture mode that is worth advocating.1 Selection of the water area: All the non-polluting lakes, reservoirs, ditches, ports and ponds, and the depth of the water is maintained at 1 ~ 2 meters. The water body can be set up net box eel farming.

2 The production and setup of the net box The net box is open, with about 40 mesh of polyethylene mesh sewn into. The mesh size of the polyethylene mesh is based on the principle of not escaping the eels and facilitating the exchange of water inside and outside the box. The size of each net box depends on the water body and production needs. Generally, there are 2mx3mxl ~1.2m; 3mx4mxl ~1.2m; 3mx6mxl ~1.

Each row is 1~2 meters apart, the net box spacing 0.5 meters; can also be a single box or several boxes for a group set. Nets should be set in static water or slightly flowing water in the waters, should not be located in the water flow is too fast, the water level is too deep, the wind is too strong in the waters. If located in the aquaculture waters of the fish pond, the net box can not account for more than 80% of the area of the water.

The bottom of the box can be close to the bottom of the pond or leave the bottom of the water. The upper edge of the net box should be more than 50 centimeters above the water surface. There are two ways of fixing the breeding net box: the wooden frame fixing type and the automatic lifting type of oil drum. The fixing method of the two ways is basically the same as the fixing method of the fish net box.
