Feeding method of mullet
First, the conditions of fish ponds
Generally, the area of pond dedicated to snakehead culture is1~ 2 mu, which is convenient for management. The water depth is1~1.5 m, and the bottom of the pond is preferably muddy. The water source should be sufficient, and the usual equipment in the pool, such as water inlet and water outlet, should be available. The PH value of the pool water should be neutral or slightly alkaline, and the transparency should be about 50 cm. Generally, pond cleaning and disinfection should be carried out10 ~15 days before stocking mullet. When cleaning ponds and toxins by dry method, generally 50 ~ 75 kilograms of quicklime is used per mu; When cleaning the pond with water for disinfection, lime 1 25 ~150kg is generally used per mu at the water depth1m. At the same time, the water surface in the pond should be about 1/5, or the water surface around the pond should be planted with 80 ~100 cm wide water hyacinth, so that when the water temperature is high in summer, it can shield the sun, facilitate the summer vacation and hiding of mullet, and purify the water quality, which is beneficial to the growth of mullet.
Second, fish stocking
Generally, there are 6,000 to 8,000 fish species per mu. The specifications of the released fry are neat and consistent, and attention should also be paid to the selection of fish species with strong physique, complete scales, lively and normal swimming and no damage. In addition, a small amount of silver carp, bighead carp, carp and other fish can be mixed in the pond specially for snakehead, which can control the water quality of the pond, increase the yield and improve the economic benefit. However, it is advisable that the individual of domestic fish in polyculture should be more than one of mullet.
Third, feed and feeding
1. Fresh bait
Mullet is a carnivorous fish, and it is still dominated by small miscellaneous fish, both fresh water and seawater. At the initial stage of culture, the wild miscellaneous fish with large specifications are chopped and fed, and the daily feeding amount is generally 5% of the total weight of the fish, which is adjusted according to the feeding situation. Generally, the feed-meat ratio is about 1∶4.
2. Artificial compound feed
At present, artificial compound feed is being developed and tried, which needs to go through the stage of juvenile domestication. According to the nutritional requirements of mullet, its crude protein content should reach more than 40%. As the raw materials of artificial compound feed for mullet, fresh fish, fish meal, soybean meal, silkworm chrysalis, corn flour, rice bran, wheat bran, bone meal, yeast powder, etc. are generally used, and a small amount of vitamins, trace elements, antibiotics and attractants are added to be mixed into lumps or made into granular feed for feeding.
3. What should I do to feed? Four decisions?
That is, timing, positioning, qualitative and quantitative. Feed it 2 ~ 3 times a day, that is, once in the morning and once in the afternoon. When the food intake is strong, feed it again in the evening. When feeding, put the small miscellaneous fish on the food table hanging in the pool water to let the fish feed, so as to reduce the loss of feed, and at the same time, it is convenient to observe the feeding situation of mullet, or adopt the method of feeding while eating until the feeding stops. Fourth, daily management
1. Patrol the pool
Patrol the pond every morning and evening, carefully observe the feeding and activities of mullet, pay attention to the changes of water quality, find problems and deal with them in time.
Step 2 change water
Especially when the temperature is high in summer, we should pay attention to adding some new water frequently to keep the water fresh and clear, so as to promote the normal growth of mullet.
Step 3 prevent escape
When the length of mullet exceeds 10 cm, its jumping ability gradually increases, especially in thunderstorm weather, changing water or early morning, it is most likely to escape fish. Therefore, the height of the pond ridge from the water surface should generally be 50 cm higher to prevent the mullet from escaping.
4. Separate rearing
At1~ 2 months in the early stage of feeding, snakehead, which grows particularly fast and is large, should be picked up with nets in time and cultured in another pond to prevent snakehead from eating small fry, so as to make the specifications of the same pond culture as much as possible.
Step 5 prevent diseases
Although mullet has strong disease resistance, it is also prone to diseases after high-density culture. It is mainly hemorrhagic disease, and its symptoms are: the food intake of fish is obviously reduced, and the fish body shows massive or punctate bleeding. If it is not treated in time, the sick fish can die one after another within 3 ~ 5 days. The treatment is carried out by combining oral administration with external use. At ordinary times, the whole pond should be sprayed with quicklime regularly for disinfection, so as to give priority to prevention.
Cultivation techniques of mullet
Choice of fish pond. For snakehead culture, the fish pond area should not be too large, and1~ 2 mu is better. The water depth is1.5 ~ 2m, the sediment should be shallow, and the inlet and outlet should be fortified with escape nets. Disinfect the fish pond with quicklime before stocking. At the same time, plant 80 ~100 cm wide water hyacinth around the pond. In this way, it can not only prevent snakehead from jumping out of the pool, but also shade the sun.
Stock fish. Fish bought in the market, although the price is low, have different specifications, and the fish body is injured due to catching and other reasons, so it must be disinfected before going down to the pond, and the fish body15 ~ 20 minutes can be soaked with 2.5% ~ 3% salt solution or 0.00 1% bleaching powder solution.
The stocking density of fish species should be determined according to the conditions of feed and water quality. Generally, fish species with a body length of about10cm/mu1000 ~1500 can be stocked, and 200 ~ 300 large-scale silver carp species can be interplanted, or a few ten tail of mature tilapia can be released for snakehead to eat.
Feed bait. Snakehead bait includes animal viscera and various small fish and shrimp. Some farmers use chicken intestines to feed and have achieved good results. If we raise Tenebrio molitor, fly maggots or earthworms ourselves, we can not only solve the bait problem, but also greatly reduce the breeding cost. The snakehead can also be fed with artificial compound bait, and its formula is: 70% minced mixed fish and shrimp paste, 20% soybean powder, 5% yeast powder, and the rest are multi-vitamin mineral salts, growth promoters and antibiotics. Feeding twice a day, the amount of feeding is 5% ~ 7% of the fish's weight, which makes it difficult for most fish to eat enough. The use of artificial compound bait requires feeding training from an early age. At the beginning, earthworm or minced fish and shrimp can be put on the dining table, and the dining table can be hung 20 cm below the water surface to lure the fry to eat. After the fry get used to eating on the dining table, the mixed bait will be gradually increased. Do not feed live bait in the middle of feeding training, so as not to affect the training effect.
Daily management. Patrol the fish pond in the morning and evening to check the growth of fish, clean up the residual bait in time, and disinfect the table regularly, which can be 0.00 1? The bleaching powder is spilled. Use raw ash 15 kg per mu every half month, and sprinkle the whole pool of hydrated pulp. It is also necessary to inject fresh water regularly to keep the pool water fresh.
