LANGUE DE CHAT (ラングドシャ) means cat's tongue in French, and the Japanese name for LANGUE DE CHAT is a chocolate-flavored milk biscuit (it is said that the biscuit is named because the biscuit is shaped like a cat's tongue). It is a delicious biscuit that melts immediately when you put it in your mouth. The most famous one is Hokkaido's Shiro Koibito (White Lover), which has a similar taste. The milk taste is very fragrant and thick, so babies love to eat it.
Confectionery shops or places selling specialties from various places across Japan may sell various flavors or brands of ラングドシャ, so it is normal for Kyushu Oita Prefecture to have this kind of biscuit.
SAKU SAKU (サクサク) means the crispy and smooth texture of food.
If you must eat this kind of biscuit, look for the imported one - Shiroi Koibito (Ishiya Seika), the taste should be very similar.
