According to Jiangsu Daily, the 2023 Top 100 Cities in China compiled by GYbrand Global Brand Research Institute was officially released, and Yangzhou ranked 48th, becoming a second-tier city. Three cities in Jiangsu are listed in the quasi-first line, namely Nanjing, Suzhou and Wuxi, four cities are listed in the second line, namely Changzhou, Nantong, Xuzhou and Yangzhou, and the remaining six cities are listed in the third line.
Yangzhou has a long history and is one of the first 24 historical and cultural cities in China. It has been more than 2,500 years since Fu Cha, King of Wu, dug ditches to build a city in the 10th year of Fu Cha (486 BC).
