Bun character in Chinese Explanation: a noodle-based foodstuff, usually referring to steamed buns: steamed bun. Steamed bun. It includes all food made of flour, easy to carry and eat and without filling. It includes steamed candied buns, juan gao buns (here in dialect), layer buns (that is, rolls), deep-fried oil buns, self-cooked buns, fried buns, and baked fire-roasted buns.

Steamed buns are generally snacks with fillings like honey and sugar.
