For a long time, we have always thought that crayfish only refers to Procambarus clarkii, and that crayfish is an exotic species, but this statement is actually wrong. In our country, there are four kinds of freshwater crayfish, including Procambarus clarkii, and the remaining three are crayfish in Northeast China, Procambarus schrenckii and Procambarus koraiensis, and the latter three are only distributed in three northeastern provinces, North Korea and Japan.
The latter three kinds are basically only found in northeast China. To put it simply, the latter three are all native to China and can be collectively referred to as cockroaches.
life habit
Crayfish has a wide adaptability and a wide suitable growth temperature, and can grow and develop normally when the water temperature is 10-30℃. It can also resist high temperature and cold, can tolerate high temperature above 40℃, and can also survive the winter safely when the temperature is below-14℃.
The crayfish grows rapidly. After more than two months' cultivation, it can reach sexual maturity and meet the specifications of commercial shrimp. Generally, male shrimp grows faster than female shrimp, and the specifications of commercial shrimp are also larger than female shrimp.
