Hai-Ou Island is located in the eastern suburb of Panyu District, Guangzhou, east of Shilou Town, at the mouth of the Pearl River, facing the Lion's Ocean, surrounded by the main channel of the Pearl River and the Lianhuashan Waterway, is a typical inland island alluvial by the Pearl River Delta rivers.
Hai-Ou Island Introduction
Hai-Ou Island covers an area of about 36 square kilometers, with a shoreline length of 37.96 kilometers, and governs four natural villages of Haixin, Shabei, Shannan, and Jiang-Ou***19,000 permanent residents. It is adjacent to Guangzhou, Dongguan, Shenzhen, the northern end of the island of Hai-O Bridge flying over the Lotus Hill waterway and the island connected to the outside of the connection, a 13-kilometer-long district highway from north to south through the island, the village village through the car, water and electricity, the basic amenities are more complete. The island mainly focuses on aquaculture, with rice, bananas and flowers being the main crops grown; aquaculture is dominated by the four major species of fish, with specialties such as rice-field fish farming, shrimp and cultivation of harvested insects. It is a unique green eco-island in the Pearl River Delta metropolitan town cluster.

Huangpu Avenue-Nansha Harbor Expressway-Qinghe Road Exit-Qinghe Road East-Qinghe Road-Shiqing Highway-Harbor Ave. -Hai-O Bridge.
Huangpu Avenue on the South China Expressway, Luntou exit to the Nansha Expressway, Qinghe Road exit, along the Qinghe Road forward, see the road sign to Lianhuashan, turn left, there are road signs on the road to guide, according to the instructions of the signposts to go on the line, over the Haiou Bridge, you will arrive at the Haiou Island.
Food Guide
Hai-O Island is famous for three words: fish, shrimp and crab! The stalls built by the sea sell the freshest seafood. The owner of the stalls is at your table, put the cage (casting nets), enough a few rooms large fishing nets are put directly into the sea, you can reach out and pull up the net. If you are lucky, the harvested fish will be used for immediate supply, so it's up to you to decide what kind and how much you want that day. There are also small fishing boats that go out to the sea, and the fish they catch go straight into the kitchen.
