Bai ying

Caulis Solani Thunb. has the effects of clearing away heat, promoting diuresis, detoxicating, detumescence and anticancer, and is mainly used for treating common cold and fever, breast abscess, malignant ulcer, damp-heat jaundice, ascites, leucorrhea, nephritis and edema. External use for treating carbuncle and furuncle.

1. Clearing heat and promoting diuresis

Used for damp-heat jaundice, leukorrhagia and edema due to stranguria. For jaundice, it can be used alone or with coriander and tiger thorn root. Treating leukorrhagia, it is often fried with jujube or longan; For edema due to stranguria, it can be used alone or together with Coicis Semen, Plantago asiatica and Lygodium japonicum. For rheumatism and arthralgia, it can be combined with Gentiana macrophylla and Radix Angelicae Pubescentis.

2. Detoxification and detumescence

For carbuncle and furuncle, it can be stewed with fresh grass, pounded with fresh leaves, or washed with water.

Fight cancer

Can be used for treating lung cancer and gastrointestinal cancer, and can be used in combination with madder, Solanum nigrum, Herba Hedyotidis Diffusae, etc.
