This is the sixth time in a row that the China Federation of Construction Enterprises has conducted a comprehensive, scientific and independent investigation, research, publicity and release on the development of enterprise strength in China. This year, we conducted data collection research on more than 12,000 China construction enterprises with total profits ranging from 30 million yuan to 9 billion yuan in Chinese mainland, ranked the candidate enterprises according to sales revenue, total assets, total profits, credit rating, social contribution, owner satisfaction and other indicators, and conducted on-site visits to some candidate enterprises, from which 500 China Construction 500 were selected.

From transportation to material security, the largest hydropower project in Africa faces many difficulties, one of which is to protect the water resources of the Nile, the mother river of Sudan, from pollution. Various extraordinary measures were taken during the construction of China Hydropower Station, and the environmental protection task was successfully completed. Nowadays, the desert around the oxidation evaporation pool in the Milovi construction site has become an oasis, attracting many birds to live. Not only the owners and engineers, but also the local people, even visiting foreign envoys, gave thumbs up and looked at China construction enterprises with new eyes.

In the aspect of engineering technology innovation, Milovi used polyethylene concrete curing agent to maintain the panel to avoid rapid evaporation of water, which not only ensured the quality of the panel, but also facilitated the construction. When China engineering enterprises go out, one of the most common problems they face is international technical standards and international engineering contract management mode. The Mailuowei Dam was designed by German supervision company Lamar, and adopted European and American engineering construction codes, which is quite different from Chinese in many structural design concepts. This is a difficult and innovative process for engineers and technicians in China.

The upstream slope construction of concrete faced dam is a key link to control the dam filling progress and affect the dam quality. The hydropower builders in China have made careful consideration, taking into account the defects of the traditional methods used in the construction of the upstream face of the dam, that is, it is difficult to ensure the quality of the cushion area by slope rolling, and the working procedures are numerous and complicated, and the cross-operation interference is great. In particular, manual slope cutting is time-consuming and laborious, which is in great contradiction with dam filling construction. In order not to "lose their jobs" in front of foreign supervisors, technicians got red eyes in a few days, but they got mature technical solutions.

They decided to adopt concrete extrusion side wall slope protection technology, which is a new method for slope construction of concrete face rockfill dam. This technology significantly improves the compaction quality of cushion material, cancels the processes of traditional upstream cushion material overfilling, slope cutting, leveling, slope rolling and slope consolidation, and speeds up the construction progress.

A few days later, after seeing the slope of the high-quality concrete face rockfill dam, the supervisor happily extended his thumb to the hydropower engineer in China and said, "China, that's great!"

In the course of countless technological innovations, the builders of the Milovi dam project have created a miracle of 6 years, 2 190 days and 52,560 hours of construction, showing the "African business card" for China manufacturing. Western countries have previously asserted that the construction time of such a huge world-class project will take at least ten years.
