The prototype of Chieftain Maiqi in "The Dust Has Settled" is based on Chieftain Suo Guanying of Zhuo Keji.

The story takes place in Zhuokeji Tibetan Village in Markang, Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan. Suo Guanying was born in a family of Wasi chieftains in Wenchuan County, Sichuan, and inherited the 17th generation chieftainship of Zhuo Keji in Malkang County. Chieftain Maiqi is the father of the fool and the last generation of chieftains. He is a natural manager and has a set of methodology both internally and externally.

Introduction
