1, land selection and soil preparation
Bamboo is common in southern China, and its growth ability is very strong. In spring, all bamboo shoots come out from the bamboo forests when it rains. Therefore, the soil chosen for planting must be loose and light, so that it can grow rapidly. It grows best on the slightly acidic soil with rich and loose material and deep soil layer, and the yield is higher. It can also grow normally on the soil with heavier soil, but the yield and quality are average. The soil preparation is mainly hole-shaped soil preparation, which is convenient for planting management. The general specification is 0.6m×.0.6m×0.5m, and then the topsoil is backfilled, which can be backfilled with some organic fertilizer.
2, seed selection and seedling raising
There are also many varieties of bamboo shoots. In order to increase the yield and maximize the economic benefits, the narrow-leaved bamboo is the best choice for the mother bamboo. The narrow-leaved bamboo is characterized by small and narrow bamboo leaves, flat bamboo joints, early bamboo shoots, long bamboo shoots, thick and crisp bamboo shoots and extremely high yield. Choose 1- Take one to two years of new bamboo as bamboo whip, and those over three years should not be used as mother bamboo, because its bamboo whip has fewer buds and shoots, and the survival rate of transplantation is low. When bamboo shoots are buried with whips to raise seedlings, it is best to keep one or two live branches from the bamboo shoots to improve the survival rate. It can be buried in the soil, generally about 4,000 whips are buried per mu.
3. Reasonable planting
After the bamboo seedlings are bred, they can be planted. Pay attention to the time and method when planting. The planting time is generally in February-March, when the temperature and climate are favorable for the growth of bamboo seedlings, the survival rate of planting is also high. The root system of bamboo seedlings is highly lignified. If it is not planted in time after seedling emergence, it will lose water and affect the survival rate. Therefore, planting is generally not suitable for long-distance transportation. It should not take more than 72 hours from seedling emergence to planting, and it should generally be completed within 48 hours. When planting, the bamboo stalks should be cut. When planting, the bamboo stalks of bamboo seedlings fall to the lower side of the hillside to form an included angle with the ground, and one or two loose branches should be left outside the soil, which can reduce the steaming method of water and improve the survival rate. When planting, attention should be paid to the planting density.
4, post-management
In order to ensure the yield, fertilizer and water management is essential when planting. Only by ensuring the nutrients needed for bamboo growth can more high-quality bamboo shoots be harvested. Water and fertilize the bamboo every year according to its growth stage. Generally, water-soluble fertilizer is applied to the leaves 3-4 times a year, the first time in May-June, the second time in August-September, the third time in11February, and the fourth time in April of the following year. In the rainy season in southern China, drainage measures should be taken to prevent the roots from rotting due to excessive water accumulation in low-lying areas, but irrigation should be done in time in high-temperature seasons to prevent the soil from being too dry and affecting the yield.
