It's worth seeing Wuxi, a typical scenery in the south of the Yangtze River, when you come to Jiangsu. I have traveled to Wuxi for many times, and I recommend Wuxi's scenic spots and parks free of charge.

There are more than a dozen ancient towns in Wuxi, all of which are well worth visiting. First of all, I recommend four free ancient towns:

Huishan Ancient Town

There are many ancestral halls in Huishan Ancient Town, and the courtyards of the ancestral halls are different. Go in one by one and slowly immerse yourself in Suzhou gardens.

Many TV dramas are filmed here, such as Steen and Dream of China, which have been on fire in recent two years, and the quaint ancient town in the south of the Yangtze River, where the commercial atmosphere is relatively weak and the food price is not expensive. You can eat many special snacks in Wuxi, such as Yangchun noodles, steamed buns, wonton and Yulan cakes. There is no charge outside the historic area.

2. Jindangkou Ancient Town

The original ecology of the whole ancient town is completely preserved, with basic shops but no over-commercialization, and the scenery and culture are also very comfortable. It's very quiet here, where rivers are vertical and horizontal, bridges are flowing, and willows are weeping. In the sparse crowd, it is slightly desolate and comfortable, but it makes tourists more thoughtful and leisurely.

3. Meili Ancient Town

Meili Ancient Town is the birthplace of Wu culture, and many people say that it is a "thousand-year-old town in the south of the Yangtze River". Although it is an ancient town, it has just been renovated for a long time. It is actually a bit boring during the day, but at night, when the lights are on, the taste of the whole ancient town is different.

besides punching in and taking photos, there are of course all kinds of delicious food here. There are restaurants with different styles and a street with special snacks on both sides of the river. Every night, a pub that young people like is also very suitable for dating!

4. Nanquan Ancient Town

Nanquan Town is small, and there are many simple old people living on both sides of the river. Sometimes the pace of our life is really fast, but when we come here, we have to envy the life here, and I also yearn for a better life! You can slow down here and feel the fireworks in the small town!

One of the 48 temples in the southern dynasty, visitors to Wuxi must punch in. Burn incense and make a wish, and visit the snack street. There are many online celebrity snacks concentrated in this copy of the street.

It is suitable for playing at night. When the lights are on, it will not be full of fireworks. ?

Nanchang Street is in the blocks on both sides of Wuxi Ancient Canal, which is a relatively prosperous place with a lot of food and a photo shoot. There is an undeveloped block on Dayao Road, which is very chronological and especially suitable for taking photos in retro style. It's close to nanzenji, so we can go shopping together.

2. Gonghuwan Wetland Park

You can rent a bicycle to wander around and listen to the waves by the embankment. Later, Metasequoia will look better. Even better than some paid scenic spots.

3. Lihu Central Park

The name of Lihu originated from the story of Fan Li and Xi Shi. This park is also called "European City of Wonders of the World", and many of them are European-like buildings, including the Arc de Triomphe, Greek temples, German castles, etc. The park is small and especially suitable for taking photos. It's also near Taihu Lake, and it's beautiful to watch the sunset.

4. Donglin Academy

If you haven't seen Donglin Academy in TV series, you should also have heard the couplet "The sound of wind and rain, the sound of reading, family affairs, state affairs and everything in the world are concerned". The existing academy, built in the Qing Dynasty, is a niche attraction, suitable for young artists and children to visit here. The transportation is very convenient, and you can get off the Donglin Academy directly by subway.
