1. There are many traditional cuisines in China, such as Zongzi, jiaozi and non-toxic cakes ... My favorite is Zongzi.
2. After Qu Yuan threw himself into the river, people often threw food into the river for Qu Yuan to eat, but every time the fish in other rivers were eaten, so people dried bamboo leaves, wrapped rice balls in them, tied them tightly with ropes and finally threw them into the river. Fish are afraid to go near this sharp thing, which is the origin of zongzi.
3. On the morning of Dragon Boat Festival every year, I always make zongzi with my grandma. First, I roll bamboo leaves into a cone, then I put half of the prepared glutinous rice, then I put in my favorite bean paste, and then I put a spoonful of glutinous rice to flatten it. Then, I seal my mouth with extra bamboo leaves and tie it tightly with straw ropes. Finally, put it in the pot. In a short time, it smelled good and made my mouth water.
4. Grandma brought out the zongzi one by one, just like a small cone-shaped doll, which looked delicious. I quickly untied the straw rope and tasted it. The smell of bean paste suddenly filled the whole mouth. The dumplings wrapped by myself were sweeter than honey!
5. I like zongzi, which symbolizes the great patriotism!
