In my hometown, we package jiaozi in the Spring Festival. For us, it is a long-standing tradition to celebrate the New Year in jiaozi as a tribute to our ancestors and Buddha.
It is special that we will put some coins in the jiaozi. Those with coins are called lucky jiaozi. It is said that whoever eats coins at home will have good luck in the coming year, which is regarded as a symbol of good luck.
On New Year's Eve, also known as family reunion day, all family members will gather around the table to share delicious food, one of which is Good Luck jiaozi. We send our best wishes to those who get coins.
A mid-range one will do, something more cost-effective?
