There is a small shop behind Tangdi Commercial Building called Guoji Rice Noodles. There is only one facade, and the place is small, but it is full every day. I like eating Korean noodles there, sour and sweet soup, strong noodles and kimchi, which makes people always eat this and think about the next time. I first found this place a few years ago, and a good friend took me there. I fell in love after eating it once.
Huimian Noodles from Samsung As for Huimian Noodles, I prefer Samsung's, where business is very good. Up to now, I haven't eaten authentic meat buns like Jiyuan in other cities, just pure buns with pure brine and rotten pig's head meat. There are several Chinese hamburger in Jiyuan, all of which have a good reputation. For example, the hutong opposite to Benyue Group, the gate of the smelter, the southeast corner of the intersection of Houdao and Tangdi Road, the opposite to the water park, Hongyun Building, Liucun Qiaotou, and the opposite to the first kindergarten. As I am on my way to work, I often go to Hongyun Building to eat. I often go here to kill a Chinese hamburger before going to work in the morning. It feels really happy. Let me suddenly understand the spirit of Chinese food: purity and simplicity. And these require skill, not desperately adding seasonings and side dishes. The real delicious food should be like meat buns, never fancy, never complicated, really simple and pure.

This may be the reason why drinking mutton soup is enduring and full of charm here.

Hu spicy soup is a fixed breakfast for many people in Jiyuan, and Hu spicy soup has accompanied me through countless happy mornings. South Street Crossroads, Mazhai Crossroads, and the hot soup on Wenchang Road are all authentic. Every morning, a large aluminum basin filled with Hu spicy soup is placed on the stove of honeycomb briquette, steaming, and the aroma goes straight into people's noses. Breakfast eaters go wave after wave and can eat until noon. I like to eat the kind of "two mixed ingredients" which mix half a bowl of Hu spicy soup and half a bowl of bean curd with a small spoon. The delicacy, lightness and slight bitterness of bean curd with the viscosity, sour and spicy taste of Hu spicy soup alternately stimulate and add flavor. If it is served with hot oil cakes that have just come out of the pot, it tastes excellent, and you can eat very comfortably for one or two yuan. Especially in the early morning of winter, a bowl of Hu spicy soup is delicious, spicy and warm, and you can go to work comfortably.
