As of December 2022, Jinan Rail Transit has 7 lines under construction, including Jinan Rail Transit Line 3 Phase 2, Line 4 Phase 1, Line 6, Line 7 Phase 1, and Line 8 Phase 1.

Among them, Jinan Line 1 subway will be opened to traffic on April 1, 2019. The starting point is ITRI Station and the end point is Fangte Station. There are 11 stations in total. The first and last operating hours are 6:00~22:00.

Jinan Line 2 subway will be opened to traffic on March 26, 2021. The starting point is Wangfuzhuang Station and the end point is Pengjiazhuang Station. There are 19 stations in total, and the first and last operating hours are 6:00~22:00.

Jinan Line 3 subway will be opened to traffic on December 28, 2019. The starting point is Longdong Station and the end point is Tantou Station. There are 13 stations in total, and the first and last operating hours are 6:00~22:00.
