Xinhua College of Sun Yat-sen University was officially renamed Guangzhou Xinhua College last year. At present, only the name has changed, and other teachers, environment and so on have not changed. Xinhua has two campuses, one in Tianhe, Guangzhou, and the other in Mayong, Dongguan, which is a new campus.

Xinhua is well-known in the national ranking of independent colleges and universities. Xinhua ranks 18th among independent colleges and universities in China, and its ranking is still relatively high.

There are few Dongguan aborigines studying in Xinhua, and there are many students from Guangzhou, Foshan, Chaoshan and other provinces.

Xinhua has many friends from other provinces and cities. Knowing more classmates from other provinces and cities will really broaden your horizons. If you are from other cities or provinces and want to find more fellow villagers, it will be easier to find your own friends in Xinhua.

Transportation and Entertainment

Dongguan Campus is located near Huayang Lake Wetland Park. It is a good choice to take a walk and relax, or to have friends come over and choose a cool weather to ride a bicycle. Occasionally, there will be a performance of music fountain.

If you go to Guangzhou-Shenzhen or other provinces to compete and go home during holidays, it is very convenient for the school to go to Guangzhou subway station, Guangzhou Railway Station, Guangzhou South Railway Station and Guangzhou Baiyun Airport.

If Xinhua's classmates go to Dongguan City, they can choose to carpool to Daojiao Light Rail, and they will arrive at the city after two stops. The process is comfortable, and the price per capita is about 1 yuan. Of course, there is also a bus 631 that goes directly to the Claudian subway station, and then two stops go to Nancheng. It takes one hour to get there. Maybe the bus in Dongguan is not as comfortable as that in Guangzhou. Xinhua's classmates can take the nave Station of Guangzhou-Dongguan Shenzhen Urban Rail when they go to Shenzhen, and they will soon arrive at stations such as Shenzhen Airport.

Outside the campus, Huayang Lake, Chuangkefang Phase I Phase II and Gu Mei Xintiandi are the main places. Fisherman's Wharf is also quite popular, and it is basically a small business center nearby.

Teachers

The teachers in Xinhua are generally satisfied. After all, they used to be affiliated with Sun Yat-sen University, and many teachers came to teach with doctorates and master's degrees from CUHK. Even if they are not teachers from CUHK, there are many teachers with master's degrees or above from famous universities at home and abroad. But to be honest, studying in college is not just about seeing teachers, but also about seeing yourself.

Campus facilities

The library was built only last year. At present, the library and study room are sufficient. Moreover, the library has a large number of books, and there are indeed many books to read. The campus has achieved full air conditioning coverage, and many latest facilities have been built in recent years, including basketball courts, football fields, badminton courts, tennis courts, volleyball courts and swimming pools.

Dormitory environment

There are four rooms in Dongguan campus, with air conditioning and washing machine. They are all quite new. There are six people in Guangzhou campus, with air conditioning and washing machine. They all go to bed and get off the table. But the Dongguan campus is that kind of wooden bed, and the Guangzhou campus is that kind of iron shelf bed.

Canteen

There are the first to sixth canteens in Xinhua campus, and there is also a food garden. Seven canteens gather the food from all over the world and cater to the tastes of students from all corners of the country. When we come to Xinhua, we are not afraid of not eating the food that suits our tastes, and the price is relatively affordable. Moreover, the merchants will change, that is, we can eat new tastes every once in a while, and occasionally there will be preferential activities, so that we can enjoy the food at a low price.
