Cleaning and lubricating the movement of a watch, called "oil washing", is a routine and very important work in watch maintenance. The purpose of oil washing is to insist on the cleanliness of watch parts and the necessary lubrication of machine parts, so as to ensure the accuracy of watch parts, improve the travel accuracy of watch machines and prolong the service life of watch machines. Under normal circumstances, meters are usually cleaned once after two years of use. Under normal circumstances, oil cleaning is usually carried out at the same time as adjusting and repairing parts. In addition, while checking the instrument failure, when the following problems are found, the instrument must also be washed with oil:
A. The lubricating oil in the movement is dry or sticky. This will increase the resistance of the movement of the parts and make the watch machine inaccurate.
B. there is too much lubricating oil in the instrument. This will lead to oil spilling everywhere, polluting parts, especially the escapement speed regulating mechanism, thus making the watch stop or obviously inaccurate.
C. Foreign objects enter the movement, such as dust particles, metal particles and fine fibers. This will cause the transmission mechanism of the watch machine to be blocked, thus making the watch machine unable to walk or even stop.
D, parts rust.
If there is anything wrong with your watch, you can take it to Guangcheng Watch on the first floor of No.325 Beijing Road, Yuexiu District, Guangzhou, and ask the master to help you see what the specific problem is.
