Some "steaming kung fu" shops in Beijing were found to have steamed buns with banned flavors, and the municipal health supervision agency seized them after investigation. Two steamed kung fu steamed bun shops in Hujialou area of Beijing and the steamed kung fu steamed bun breakfast sales point near Anzhenmen subway have closed.

The health department inspected a store selling steamed Kung Fu buns near Huo Ying Railway Station and found that the store did not obtain a catering service license.
