Every time I eat Western fast food, I always order one thing, which is chicken rolls. They are very similar to Chinese spring rolls and burritos, and they taste delicious.
Especially its outer skin is soft and chewy, making it very tough to eat.
In fact, we have similar delicacies, but the food rolled inside is not fried chicken popcorn.
For modern people, they can make whatever they want to eat by themselves as long as they have the materials on hand.
Except for lazy people of course.
The delicacy I want to share this time is home-style pancakes.
The skin of this home-style pancake is very thin, and it is very tough when eaten. It is not hard at all. You can eat it directly. It has original flavor and rich wheat flavor, but it is best to use it as a topping.
I like to make it with chicken breast, fry it, and add it with fresh vegetables. Not to mention how fragrant it is. Learn to make it yourself, and you no longer have to go to Western fast food.
Making pancakes seems simple, but many people fail to do it well.
The most common problem is that the fish is hard when taken out and does not soften when eaten.
It's easy to soften the texture. As long as the noodles are rested for enough time to reach a certain stretch, they will become chewy after eating.
One condition for making the dough soft is that the internal moisture content should be high. Many people bake pancakes slowly over low heat until the pancakes are cooked and the surface is browned. In this way, when the pancakes are heated, the water evaporates, leaving only dry and hard pancakes.
The skin is gone.
Pancakes baked like mine are guaranteed to be soft and chewy.
It takes about 10 minutes to bake 20 sheets, and each sheet is guaranteed to be out of the pan in about 30 seconds.
If you want to learn how to make pancakes, don’t miss it. Save it and bake it when you have time. I will share the detailed production steps below.
Materials required: 500g flour, 3g yeast powder, 3g salt, 20g cooking oil, 280ml warm water.
Ingredients: a piece of chicken breast, an appropriate amount of green onion and ginger, a spoonful of light soy sauce, an appropriate amount of salt, an appropriate amount of pepper, an egg white, an appropriate amount of cooking oil, and an appropriate amount of bread crumbs.
Production steps: 1. Put 500 grams of flour into a basin, add 3 grams of yeast, 3 grams of edible salt, and stir evenly with chopsticks.
Yeast is added here to make it easier to digest.
2. Add 280 ml of warm water to the dough, stirring while pouring, until the dough becomes fluffy.
Then add 20 grams of cooking oil.
3. Knead the dough with your hands to form a smooth dough, cover it and let it rest for 30 minutes.
4. Make ingredients during the waking time.
Prepare a piece of chicken breast, cut in half and then cut into long strips.
5. After cutting, put it in a basin, add onion and ginger, add a little cooking wine, mix well, then add a spoonful of raw meat, an appropriate amount of salt, an appropriate amount of pepper, an egg white, mix well, and finally add an appropriate amount of cooking oil.
Lock in the moisture, stir well, and set aside to marinate for a while.
6. Do not knead the rested dough, just roll it into a long strip.
Then divide into evenly sized dough pieces.
7. Take a piece of dough, cut it side up, and round it with your hands.
8. Flatten it with your hands, and then use a rolling pin to roll it into a round thin sheet with a thickness of 0.1-0.2 cm.
9. Preheat the pan, no need to add oil, turn on the high heat, add the cake base, cover with the lid, and bake for ten seconds.
10. When the time is up, turn it over and continue to bake for ten seconds.
11. Open the lid, turn it over, and continue to bake. When you see the dough puffing up, you can take it out of the pan.
Burning on fire the whole time.
The time is controlled at about 30 seconds.
After everything is done, put it together, cover it with a cloth, and then close the lid.
12. Prepare an appropriate amount of bread crumbs, add marinated chicken breasts, and roll in a circle.
13. Heat oil in a pan, add chicken breast strips after the oil is hot.
Don't flip it over yet, let it set and float.
14. Then turn it over to let it heat evenly. When the color is golden, it is ready to be taken out of the pan.
15. Take a piece of pancake, brush some sauce on the surface, either ketchup or sweet and spicy sauce, then add a piece of lettuce and an appropriate amount of chicken strips.
You can roll it up and eat it, it’s very delicious!
Tips: 1. In addition to chicken strips, you can also roll some vegetarian dishes, depending on your personal taste.
2. The pancakes must not be cooked for a long time.
