Hunan is a charming and dynamic province with many interesting places. The following is my personal opinion:

Changsha: As the capital of Hunan, Changsha has many places worth visiting. First of all, orange island is one of the landmark scenic spots in Changsha, where you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of Xiangjiang River. In addition, Yuelu Mountain is also one of the scenic spots in Changsha, where you can climb mountains, view the scenery and enjoy tea.

Zhangjiajie: Zhangjiajie is a famous tourist city in Hunan, which is famous for its magnificent natural scenery. Zhangjiajie National Forest Park is a must-visit, among which Huangshizhai and Jin Bianxi are the most famous scenic spots. In addition, Tianmen Mountain is also a highlight of Zhangjiajie, and you can enjoy the beautiful scenery by cable car.

Fenghuang Ancient City: Fenghuang Ancient City is a famous historical and cultural city in Hunan, which is famous for its unique Miao culture and antique architecture. Here, you can feel rich ethnic customs, taste authentic Miao cuisine and buy exquisite handicrafts.

Hengshan Mountain: Hengshan Mountain is a famous mountain peak in Hunan and one of the holy places of Taoism and Buddhism. Here, you can enjoy magnificent natural scenery, experience profound religious culture, and visit some temples and Taoist temples with a long history.

Yueyang Tower: Yueyang Tower is a famous ancient building in Hunan and one of the outstanding representatives of ancient architecture in China. These are the places that I personally think are more interesting in Hunan. Of course, there are many other scenic spots and activities worth visiting.
