One of the more important cultural relics and historic sites in Chaoyang District is Ritan Park (founded during the Jiajing period, the sixth batch of national key cultural relics protection units).

Shenlu Street is where the Chaoyang District Government is located. The Shenlu Street from which this road got its name is located in Ritan Park.

In addition, the tomb of martyr Ma Jun, a pioneer of the Chinese revolution and an early activist and leader of our party, is also in Ritan Park.
