Duanmu Lingfeng, played by Zou Zhaolong, is a gentle but ruthless gangster. In order to fulfill his father's last wish, he searched for the long-lost temple ancient jade, and colluded with the police boss to hire top killers to kill Jiang and Hecheng who held the ancient jade respectively. Dānlín (Donnie Yen) and his colleagues who are dissatisfied with the style of the police boss are mistakenly involved in this storm. With the help of Bian Ya, Jiang, Meng and Cheng successfully found the secret hidden in the ancient temple and got the treasure chest. Meanwhile, Duanmu Lingfeng also led two top killers to arrive. Under the fierce fighting between the two sides, the police officer Bian Ya died unfortunately, and the murderer who killed Duanmu also lost his life. In the gap between Dānlín and Duanmu Lingfeng, Duanmu Lingfeng took the opportunity to open the treasure chest, only to find that there was only a piece of precious paper and two stones inside. Duanmu Lingfeng (played by Zou Zhaolong) is a gangster with gentle appearance but cruel means. He will kill and set fire to find the long-lost treasure of the ancient temple. The legendary ancient temple wall has been divided into three pieces, belonging to three young men and women, namely Jiang, Meng and Cheng. Meng Hecheng's adoptive father was killed successively, and his younger brother was chased by Duanmu Lingfeng's killer and Duanmu's long-paid guard captain Lu. Bian Ya, who was involved in this storm, rescued the children several times. Since Duanmu Lingfeng, powerful killers have been sent to hunt them down. Fortunately, Dānlín, who has excellent skills, appeared in time and severely taught these evil killers.

At the end of the film, the children in the jungle and Bian Ya finally found the legendary treasure chest. However, Duanmu Lingfeng led his men to rob at will. When Dānlín arrived, Biya was dying. Before he died, he begged Dānlín to take care of the children for himself and witnessed the death of his best friend. Dānlín was filled with grief and indignation, and decided to do or die with Duanmu Lingfeng.
